I leave it to the audience to decide and the store manager to evaluate - Can/Does the store sell a phone if there is 35 minutes left to close the store?It happened with me today, visited store to upgrade my phone, the sales associate accessed my account with my provider and fetch a new device, was little hesitant, spoke to the other associate and then said unfortunately there is not enough time". I came back to my car and it was 4:25 pm on my phone.Couples of days ago I got my wife's phone upgraded

Bought an item online for a trip, waited 14 days for it to arrive (which it didn't) and upon returning from a trip where I needed the item, I went to return in. Turns out, the return policy is to go directly through the marketplace online seller, NOT best buy. When I ask for a refund through best buy, the support tech said that Best buy wouldn't honor their product, because they sold it through a third party distributor. This Best Buy return policy re: marketplace sales is ATROCIOUS. I'm never shopping with them again unless the rectify this issue. Appalling service and only further pushes me towards solely shopping with Amazon.

Ordered appliances for my new home in December, asked them to move the date as the home would not be ready (moved from April to 2nd week of June. in May they called and said the stove would be delayed and come middle of July, but everything else was on track.Appliances did not come 2nd week of June, I went the next week to find out. In store told me that all the appliances were scheduled for middle of July. The team lead gave me the appliance delivery peoples number to call, did that, they told me they could break up the order and have everything but the stove come sooner. They said they would forward the request to the store and it would take 1-3 business days.Waited 3 business days, went into the store. They could not find any information regarding a request, told me they could not contact the appliance delivery team (had to be customer directed")

Purchased a Oculas online. Went in to pick it up the staff was way too busy talking to each other to help me. I waited 30 minute being the only person in the pick up line. When I finally got help the person who helped me only asked for 2 pieces of id and they did not even ask me for my order number. All around my experience sucked. I would never recommend buying from the Nanaimo Best Buy. Honestly I did not even want to give them one star review. However I could not submit without giving the star.

This is a very very good electronic store. The staff are very friendly with some flaws but most of the time very friendly, with lots of skill in helping customers. Store has some flaws like being non-organized as much and as easily as a possibly can but is very spacious and well organized in the electronics video game wise. Store is very inclusive with no matter who they're talking to and will accept anyone no matter their race or color. The only issue I have with the stores that return policy and their support sometimes their support doesn't really know what they're doing that much but their return policy is 30 days which is really good, there warranty is also covered by Geek Squad which is in their building as well.

Store is nice and clean and spacious, and they do have a good selection of all sorts of electronics with often decent sales. Many of the staff however, seem miserable and like they hate their job. I recently came in and dropped over $700 on a new phone. The salesman assisting me seemed annoyed by my presence and repeatedly tried to sell me on financing and protection plans in a very monotone voice, which gave off a very forced by the manager to do so" vibe. Not necessarily a criticism of the staff but of possible bad management."

Previously posted about a bad experience. However, after getting response from the manager and speaking to a member of customer service, they rectified the issue to the best of their ability. I appreciate the integrity they displayed in the end.

Best-buy has made it impossible to actually phone local stores anymore. If there's any issues with the website, or if there's anything you specifically requires from your local store, or for whatever reason you're unable to access internet to check their website it is not physically possible to reach this, or any other store through phone.Furthermore the call-centre you are directed to likewise has 0 ways to interact with any specific store, so it's not even like you can get second-hand help.I phoned because their website was having issues, specifically a discrepancy between an item being available or not. I wanted to know if it was so I called. 10-15 minutes of automated menus later I finally get on the line with an actual person with an accent thick enough to be VERY difficult to understand. I explain my issue and their response is All I can do is check the website for you". No
