Great spot for a date. The broth with the mussels was so good, we took it home to craft another dish. The vegan pesto pasta was decent. The salmon that came with it was mouth watering. Staff very friendly.

Beef shank was delicious! Had some non-alcoholic bevy’s and they were also very good. Only down side was the time and price, but would highly recommend this place.

$25 plus tax and tip for soggy bruschetta. Asked for olive oil at what's supposed to be a high-end restaurant and we were charged $2 without warning. For olive oil. The charge was removed, but I'll never go back. Good restaurants don't charge for negligible amounts olive oil. It was a tablespoon.

Our group of 6 skiers and snowboarders visited the Woolsey Bistro on an evening in early March, it was a lovely fine dining experience, beautiful candlelit ambiance, wood floors, each table felt very private with well placed dividing walls and cleverly created niches. I had the Ribs;Braised back ribs in house bbq, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, apple cucumber salad, seasonal vegetables, very yummy. A lot of our group ordered the Braised Beef Shank; Organic beef stiletto, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, potato crisps, beef jus. When we left, each plate was bare and everyone satisfied. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely visit again next time we're in town.

Not the best. It took over an hour to get two poorly cooked steaks and a plate of salty vegetables even though the place was nearly empty. Presentation and tastes was mediocre for the premium price tag. Wait staff was nice but not very attentive.

Beautiful ambience. The venison burger was really good though the polenta fries were a little over cooked. The bruschetta was very nice and well plated. The vegetarian bowl was ok. Would definitely try it again.

We were a group, and the waitress made our night rather unpleasant. The service was mediocre, with a few errors, no apologies provided, and also no offers to rectify her mistakes. She was neither friendly nor interested. We didn't feel welcomed or like it was a pleasant place. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and was surprised to see that the experience was only getting worse as the waitress didn’t offer me any change - presumptuous and leaving herself a generous and unwarranted tip. I didn’t say anything and kept it polite, however it is a complete no-no and I decided to write a review on here as next the waitress went on and also commented on someone else’s tip amount (which was a standard %) not being sufficient - in front of the whole group, leaving the person feel uncomfortable for no reason. It was ridiculous! Extremely greedy. Would not return or recommend. The cocktails and food were fine, maybe overall the meal was a little dry and the potatoes bland. Mostly we were disappointed in the service though.

Food was average, but we waited for an hour before our dishes arrived :/ Took 30 min for the server to take our order and another 40 min to get our food.I understand the restaurant may be understaffed, but would’ve appreciated if they limited the seating to match the staff or gave a discount considering how long we waited. The food wasn’t bad - we got the burger, pasta, and crème brûlée for dessertParking on site. Make sure to make reservations beforehand!

Had dinner here in January, an annual tradition when in Revelstoke. This time was marred by (1) their very strict policy on no outside wine, which was waived when we came last year. We were prepared to pay corkage or buy a bottle for each one of our own we opened, but there was no flexibility. It's one thing if a restaurant has a deep and diverse wine list, but here there's only local wines and all of the top Pinots and some other wines we chose were sold out. (2) The toasts on the charcuterie plate were stale. (3) One of our group ordered the daily soup (dairy free cauliflower) as her main course, only to be served a dairy containing red pepper soup without anyone asking her if that was OK. Overall not a good experience; we won't be including this on our list of restaurants when we visit next year.
