EDIT: I am updating my review to 5 stars as the location manager reached out to me to discuss my experience with the customer service I received at that location. She was wonderful and attentive to all of my concerns and I am very satisfied with how this situation was resolved. Thank you for the time and effort you invest in your clients!---Very disappointed with our experience at Michael Hill Bramalea. My partner and I were looking for a pair of promise rings to mark an upcoming anniversary and renew our commitment to one another. We were met with a young woman with her mask off on her phone. I wish I got her name, but she wasn't wearing a name tag (or her mask right, for that matter...) She half heartedly gave us the time of day until my partner told her his budget. Clearly that wasn't good enough for her as she immediately confined us to one small area of the store and couldn't be bothered to answer more than a few questions. She wouldn't even let me look at the other pieces in the store because 'those sections aren't in my budget'. What a nice way of telling me I can't afford something. Horribly unprofessional woman. We went to a different jewellery store and walked away with a ring over double what our general price range was. management needs to retrain their employees on how to conduct adequate customer service that isn't commission based.

I felt unwelcome, but we bought 2 things anyways, the lady made me felt she was rushing me while I was looking through display cases, (lady was like can I help you? I asked to take out an item at the display area then all of a sudden she was like anything

I absolutely love Micheal Hill Jewelry, they are so beautiful and great quality. However this review is based on the staff at this location. I have to say how dissatisfied and uncomfortable I felt entering the store. I brought my ring in for a routine Inspection and felt as if I didn't belong bc of the way I looked. I felt judged and pretty sad when I left. I recommend going to another location if your not dressed to the nines !

My hubby had purchased a diamond ring for me from here. A couple of months later, i noticed a diamond fell out. Went in and talked to a woman there, and she said they can send it out to get repaired , but it will take about 2-3 weeks for me to get it back (which was fine). They sent it out and within 2 weeks they called me to tell me to come pick it up. Everything went smooth, and my ring looked perfect ! great customer service as well :)

Beautiful jewelry, customer service needs work. I went in yesterday to get my engagement ring cleaned. The staff proceeded to ask me if my ring was a MH ring. I confirmed it was. Then I expressed interest finding a wedding band. She proceeded to tell me my ring is no longer part of their latest collection and finding a wedding band to match would be difficult. I assured matching was not my goal, but she insisted showing me all the rings I had 0 interest in. She also made a point to tell me I should buy soon since my wedding is in July. This particular staff come across as a bitter older lady who could care less about how they make people feel. I'll probably shop somewhere else for my wedding band. This is not the first time the Michael Hill store has been a disappointment. Sq1 has a manager who rushes visits as well. MH has to look into doing a better job hiring their staff.

Discriminating, lazy, & incompetent. Definitely recommend going to another location or completely different company. If the owner is reading this highly suggest to fire the staff and hire new people you are 100% losing customers because of your staffs attitude.

I write this review to the woman who served me on the evening of 11/11/2022 and to you alone. I was actually looking forward to picking up my ring as I had been waiting for it for a week to be sized, however from the moment I set foot in the store you treated me with nothing but condescension and antagonism I'm unsure if it was the fact that I wasn't dressed to your standard or you just assumed I was there to look at the silver" as you stated but you fully ruined the experience of picking up my Diamond engagement ring. I hope you learn the value of good customer service and how to treat people with respect and dignity. Regardless

Mr Hill I don't know what kind of crooked staff you have working for your company but I am actually disgusted by the service I received. I went to your store on 12/22/22 to get a necklace and earrings for a 10 year old....the rep helping me appeared very helpful, I saw some pieces that matched my expectation, I asked how much it cost I was told $50 each earring nice right in my price range I saw the necklace I asked how much is the necklace she said $65 ok sweet I asked is it real gold (it better be) she said yes 10k I was sold....why is it when I'm ready to cash out I was told I get a discount on top of the price quoted when the bill came $399... Please do the math and tell me how this makes any sense.....I will be going back to the store today to speak with that rep didn't want to make a big deal because the store was busy.....I am in total disgust your staff quotes one price then charged something else.....is that what you trained them to do?

Went in today to buy a necklace for my friend. The lady helping me was incredibly nice and understanding of my budget. The way they package the jewelry is so classy, and she even gave me a birthday card to include in the gift bag. Definitely coming back !

I absolutely loved going to this store for the first time and pretty happy with the experience. Ede was so so nice and helpful, and I would definitely recommend anyone who’s looking for wedding rings should try the store. Ede was quiet knowledgeable and helped me find my wedding ring. Great service !!!!
