I have been using Brian's services for many years to take care of my multiple dogs while on vacation. Recently, I have retained his services on a daily basis to meet the needs of my new puppy. I trust him completely with my dogs, and my home. He is very responsive to e-mails and texts. My dogs are always well cared for when I am away, and tired out when they come back from their daily walk. I would recommend his services without hesitation.

I've been a Petmate customer for more than ten years and can't say enough good things about this wonderful service. Brian is completely reliable, responds right away to my questions, and is super-conscientious. He clearly cares about the animals and their owners. His prices and policies are completely reasonable. A couple of times when I've had to change my plans at the last minute, he has been more than accommodating. He goes out of his way to offer a friendly and personalized service. Highly recommended!

Very poor first impression!!I contacted Petmate Homesitting to query the areas of expertise posted on their website and to make arrangements for my special needs pup. While none of my questions were answered, I did get a reply stating that he (Brian Knapp) was far too busy to take on new clients - especially one that had a specific schedule. Mickey Mouse of an operation, it would seem.

My only regret is not finding Petmate Homesitting earlier. Brian makes copious notes regarding pet care, plant care as well as locations of all that may be needed. Once the comprehensive intake is done he is just a text message or phone call away. He has cared for my birds and plants multiple times and I always feel confident in their care and am impressed with his professional approach.

We have used Brian's services, Petmate Homesitting, for 10+ years in Kingston for a total of three dogs and 4 cats over the years in two properties that we have lived in. He is meticulous, trustworthy, professional and absolutely dependable. We would not trust our animals care to anyone else in our home. Yes you pay upfront for his services as he spends a lot of time ensuring that your animals care requirements are recorded at an initial visit, and he follows those requirements to the letter. Time is money and this is his business and frankly, the small outlay is worth every cent when you know how well your pets will be cared for.

My husband and I have been using Petmate's services for the past 5 years to look after our cat while we are out of town. Petmate has always been a reliable service and it puts our mind at ease to know that someone is coming into our house to check on our cat while we're away. Our cat always seems happy and well fed when we return from a trip. Petmate also collects our mail, waters our plants, and does a general check of the place to make sure all is well when we're not there. We would highly recommend to other pet owners looking for peace of mind when they travel.

I’ve had Brian care for our dog occasionally over the past three years. I’ve always found his rates to be reasonable, and he takes good care of our dog who’s a bit of a nervous Nellie! Every time we’ve come home from being away, our dog always seems well cared for. He’s professional and helps to ensure our home is safe while we’re gone. He’s also prompt to respond and let us know whether he is available to care for our dog. He’s often available on short notice or able to accommodate us if plans are variable, which I really appreciate.Thanks Brian! We’ll definitely be contacting you in the future to look after our fur babies.
