When I arrived the place was nearly empty, the barber was clipping and chatting with his customers. As much as I did enjoy the vibe at first, I realised what it was just a bit too laid back. My haircut was on point and the conversation that the barber and I had was interesting, but if you're looking for a professional type place, this isn't the place for you.

Great haircut and nice friendly chap. He does a 0 to 0.5 to 1 fade on me, and cuts my part line, great modern cut, very talented and very fast … no TVs or music or other distractions… just nice polite old-school service. Fantastic! 5 star all the way!

Hello. I always have my hair cut in Ottawa but I said I will try this hair salon because it's close to where I live in Aylmer.Very poor customer service and no welcoming attitude.Even my hair wasn't fixed properly. I did even mention to the young guy there that this is my first time. I guess he didn't care.I left him the change anyways cuz I couldn't wait to leave this place. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. thanks for reading.

I got a nice haircut and beard trim here and the service was very fast. They also accept walk-ins.That said, I had a few misgivings. The place wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be or even in good shape; the furniture was unexpertly repainted and the mirror at my barber's station was distorted.Finally, as others have mentionned, they only take cash and the only cash machine in the strip mall is one of those small private units which charge an arm and a leg in transaction fees.

They got skills but their hours of operations are unreliable. I don't mind that they don't take appointment; first come first serve. But at least stay open or available within your hours you claim to be open. Two experiences that prevent thos from being a 5 star rating:One time I walked in around 2pm and was told to come back when he finishes his sandwich.Today is friday and they apparently close at 8pm but that wasn't the case, it was closed before 7pm.So if you're looking for a good cut and don't mind the luck of the draw for availability then you're good. Otherwise
