Sheli's Burgers & Fried Chicken
This is to address the House Salad. Obviously the main attraction here isn’t the salad- but having a “salad” with 2 thick circles of sliced tomato, not diced, is very frustrating. We had to cut the tomato into pieces ourselves. Please make sure the tomato is diced when making the House Salad.

Love sheli's. Best kosher burgers around. Expensive, but worth the price. Meat poutine is also delicious!Nice staff. Tasty dairy-free shakes. Nice decor, too!

Sheli's Burgers & Fried Chicken
First time visiting this place and decided to try their tacos. The grilled chicken one was okay, the pulled brisket was much better. Overall the tacos were not bad but kinda overpriced tbh - $16.99+tax for 2 tacos. Service wasn't rude but wasn't great either. I also got there close to closing time, so that mught be why. Might try their burger next time!

Called in and was told I could replace a $7 add on with an extra piece of chicken. Placed 2 orders online only to then be told “we Dont do that” by someone else when I got my food without the extra chicken. Terrible customer service at this location.

Amazing Place, I had the Double Sabra and I was amazed by the taste, quality and even the cooking.Their patties were daily fresh, made on daily fresh brioche bun from the Bakery next to them.Not only was their beef real, unprocessed, well seasoned it was also well cooked (a lot of places over cook it, you'd be surprised)Also loved the fact they don't charge you for simple toppings like mushroomsThe only thing I saw that they could improve is the dine in experience, sure I get it it's a takeout place, but, instead of bringing the burger wrapped in paper simply brought individually to your table, I think a tray or something similar could be useful even in a self-serve way.Overall an amazing place with amazing food, you can't go wrongWill definitely be back to try the other items on the menu too

The chicken is great. The combo doesn't have enough coleslaw for the number of servings of chicken there are, but everything was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend, but plan your sides accordingly.

Place nice and clean. Excellent onion rings, good burgers, fries not so good. Ordered 2 combos for $38 with tax. Quite pricey. Friendly staff and fast service though.

Good food overall, with just a few tolerable problems.Chicken good, burgers tasty (although I don't recommend the vegetarian burger or the specialty burgers), decent onion rings.The salad we got for $10 was a disappointment.Venue is a bit chaotic and small (only three large tables and stools at a counter), plus some cleanliness concerns, but when things get busy and the place is full of kids what can you do?For Toronto kosher food it's certainly one of the top places to go, although that doesn't say much.

Sheli's is Legit!!Tucked away in the plaza at Chabad Gate and Bathurst St in Thornhill is one of the areas truly amazing restaurants. Sheli's is legit, as I have travelled all over North America and ate at of some of the most established Fried Chicken Joints America has to offer. Some Examples are Hattie B's in Nashville, Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken in Memphis, Sams Fried Chicken and Donuts in Houston and The Red Yeti in Jeffersonville IN. I've had some good Fried Chicken and Southern Style foods. Sheli's is no exception, I found the place purely by Fluke after picking up my kids from a birthday party in the plaza. I saw the sign, I saw the crowd, and I saw all the Kippahs so I was curious.Low and Behold, little did I know that Thornhill has its own fried chicken joint. Sheli's has gone so far as to keep it Kosher but keep it as Southern Style as possible with its pressure cooked chicken and other items. I spoke to the guy at the counter who although busy, was more than happy to share the history and the concept of Sheli's. Based on his recommendation we got an order of Home Cut Fries, a helping of Popcorn Chicken and I personally tried the BBQ Chicken Sandwich. We loved everything we got, the fries were very good, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the sandwich was out of this world. I have been back a few times with friends to try the Burgers, Beef Bacon and the fried chicken. I have to say the food is top-notch, take from a guy whose been around, Sheli's is legit!!
