Afsheed Cakes and Sweets

Beautiful design and tasty cake! The masterpiece for my bday table, thank you Afsheed cakes and sweets, cake was ready on time and the design was exactly what I asked for.

Afrand made us a dholki cake for a recent family event. She did this with two days notice, and was very professional and responsive.The cake was absolutely amazing. Afrand is the only baker in Calgary that knows how to use fondant without ruining the cake. The sponge and filling was also very delicious and SO light. We will definitely be re-ordering

Afrand did a great job of taking our direction and inspiration for our Christmas cake (the old Rudolph clay-mation). She was very responsive, willing to accommodate our direction and had it ready on time for us. Also nice she offered delivery (for a fee).

I contacted Afsheed Cakes and Pastry approximately 10 days before my wedding after learning the bakery I had ordered my wedding cake from 3 months prior had lost my order and had not even started on it. I had my heart set on a 2 layer white fondant covered cake with an assortment of white and fall coloured hand crafted sugar flowers cascading down the layers. In a panic, I contacted several bakeries in Calgary all at once sending a photo of my dream wedding cake. Afrand was the only reply I received willing to take on a cake of this magnitude on such short notice. She asked a multitude of questions throughout the week to make sure she understood completely what I wanted and was even able to accommodate a special request that I said was optional. When I picked up my cake 2 days before the wedding as I had requested (so yes, it was an EXTREMELY short time frame), I had resigned myself to the fact that the cake would look similar to what I had wanted but to not expect perfection as I had been asking for a miracle. When Afrand opened the door for my fiancé and I, and I caught the first glimpse of my cake (I mean our" cake! lol)

The tasting was super easy to set up and Afrand was so kind, helpful, and organized. The cake was amazing! Many of our guests complimented how good the cake looked and tasted. Highly recommend! Also Afrand fulfill our request of a cherry blossom cake

I ordered my baby's first birthday cake. It was an amazing cake, so beautiful and elegant design and the taste was so delicious.It served more than 70 people. It was delivered so on time and all the way through ordering, she was so helpful and caring. THANK YOU

Had an amazing experience ordering a cake for my son's first birthday with them, they are super responsive and easy to work with. The cake was exactly as I wanted and sooo soft and delicious as well! It is rare to find a desert this well balanced, not too sweet but just right! All my guests asked where I got the cake made because it was that good!! Afrand really worked with me to get the design just right as well so it fit well with our party's theme. Thank you so much for making our special day even better! :)
