Your Lawyer LLP

Ken has been my families lawyer for many years and we cannot say enough about his ability to solve complex issues. We appreciate all the realestate deals, and some civil suit representation. I highly recommend him and full well know his capabilities.

July, 14 - Review update: One year later and another mortgage through your lawyer. Ken, Shelly and Sun did a great job. There were some issues that had to be worked out within their office, but now they are fixed. I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend! Ken and team have been a great help and resource along the way!-------------------------------------------------------------------July, 13-Frustrating experience. Poor communication, don't return calls and mess up the paperwork on one of the most important purchases that you make. Cheap lawyer = cheap service. This place is a chop shop in my opinion.

I have used this office twice. First time I used some other lawyer in this same office and his service was great but I had to use Rick Lehan few months back again. My experience could not be worse than this. Rick was rude and arrogant. He did not return my calls even I tried to remind him and his staff about my possession date was coming quickly. He did not do his homework on time and charged me emergency fee although all of my paper work reached to him 6 days prior to possession date. Upon complaining, he asked me and my wife to leave his office. When I mentioned him that paperwork was well in time, he verified receiving date. When I mentioned that I have been trying to remind you for the last 4 days and you did not even return my call, he said, I am very busy and not free to return your calls, got angry and left his office.I would say it is not worth using this lawyer. Fees that they quoted were different than what they charged (new home fee, emergency fee, signing mortgage papers fee etc). Most importantly, your self-respect is more important than money. I would say research before you go.

I have only good things to say about the Your Lawyer firm, I used them for the sale of my house. The receptionist was very polite and courteous, the contract and legal documents were all ready when I went to the office and were explained to me as I went through them, I was given some heads up about other things that I would need to deal with such as property taxes, etc. Also, my cheque from the sale was ready when they said it would be. I would recommend this company, no problem.

I have used Your Lawyer for two house purchases, and I absolutely love them. Not only are they fast and efficient, but they are always willing to take the extra time to explain things or answer questions. They do not rush you through your appointment, and they make sure you are constantly up to date and in the loop with your file.I highly recommend dealing with Shelley! Great personality, easy to talk to and always smiling!!

We recently sold our home and had a number of challenges with the sale closing. Sun Choung worked closely with us ensuring that we understood our options while guiding us through the challenges and helping to put us at ease during a stressful time. Bailie was also great to work with. Both Sun and Bailie were friendly, professional and cared about helping us close our sale. We appreciated their open and honest communication throughout the process and would highly recommend working with them!

Your Lawyer LLP was fantastic. They handled both the sale of our condo and purchase of our new house. Lori and Belle were always available to answer all my questions (which was quite a few) in a very professional and timely manner. Everything was organized and well taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have no shortage of amazing things to say about Ken Johnston and his awesome team. I have been working with them for the almost 7 years I have been in the Real Estate business and my clients I refer are extremely happy with the service they provide. As a licensed realtor, the people I work with have to uphold the same high level of service I promise to my clients, and they never fail to deliver.

Your Lawyer LLP is amazing. Both Sun Choung and Ken Johnston were a great help to me both financially and legally. They helped me with purchasing my first home and now they have assisted me in steps to resolving legal matters with fraudulent door to door sales purchase of a furnace. I am happy to with their service and plan to contact them again when I sell my home.

Not recommend this lawyer to buy a house at least! Irresponsible and unprofessional.During the sale of our own home and the purchase of another, Your Lawyer LLP was mediocre at best. The made errors on the paperwork and did not seem customer service oriented at all. Made us lose money $400 of their mistake.Throughout this process Ken Johnston never once made direct contact himself. All communication (and work, it seemed) done by his assistant, whom we found to be impolite and arrogant at times. No apology provided for their oversight and stressed caused on the client.Our family suffered stress and heartache whereas purchasing real estate should be an exciting venture. I would recommend you seek a lawyer that is more knowledgeable and has your best interests in mind.
