My partner and I came here as relatively new divers looking for dive flashlights before heading out to nanoose bay for our day of diving. They gave us thoughtful and in depth advice about dive equipment, tips about diving in the area, and handmade maps that were not found anywhere else online. Just dove in Nanaimo for the week and used this shop for gas fills. Great service and very accommodating when we needed fills with a short turnaround. Really appreciate the service and how friendly the staff were. Hope to be back soon and book on their boat charter next time.

I've been around the world diving and Nanaimo Dive Outfitters has the most retail inventory and the most readily available rental equipment. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond what is asked ! I couldn't recommend a better dive shop for your cold water adventure in Canada than Nanaimo Dive Outfitters.

Short Story:We would highly recommend both shore drives & boat drives!Long Story:After almost 2 years off due to COVID-19 it was time to get back in the water.We recently booked 2 days of guided 2-tank shore dives to get the locals perspective on shore sites & dial in our bouancy.Booking with Kristina & Brenda was smooth and painless. They were very responsive to our requests and acommodated us perfectly.Diving with Tim was some of the best guided diving we have done! We finished our 2 days feeling confident in our skills, with enthusiasm to return and shore dive on our own or with a Club.

The worst experience dealing with this company. I have sent 2 emails about an experience I had with them. I was charged twice for the course and they are avoiding me and not responding. For a female run dive shop I would have expected better. Poor excuse of a dive shop

An excellent shop for diving in Nanaimo.We did a two-tank dive and hired a DM to guide us. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable and a great guide.Cpt. Steve is great, too. He also knows everything you need to know about diving in the area.I felt that all the prices were very reasonable. And the shop was very easy to deal with both over email and by phone.

The shop is great and Brenda the owner is friendly and experienced. We rented high quality gear from the shop and went diving with Andrea at Tyee Cove in Nanoose Bay. She is a phenomenal instructor; so knowledgeable, funny and patient. These were my 6th and 7th dives, and my first in saltwater. It was amazing. Looking forward to coming back.

What a great dive shop, my wife and I did our first cold water dives with NDO, and completed our drysuit course. Chris was our guide for the three days of diving, he was great! Very informative and he was an expert at finding little creatures in all the cracks.Brenda was great with communication via email, she answered all my questions and set up our three days of diving. Can't recommend this dive shop enough, I'll be back!

My family just finished our open water Scuba certification with Nanaimo Dive Outfitters. Brenda and the entire team we worked with including Gerald, Sheldon, Scott, and Theo were all amazing and excellent instructors who really took the time to make sure everyone felt confident with the equipment and the necessary knowledge and skills to dive safely.My Wife, and our two sons who took the course with me all had a great time learning and finally experiencing an ocean dive for the first time.
