Waterford Cottages & Campground

We stayed here for ten nights and loved it. The cottage itself was small but very clean and had everything we needed. There were 2 chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit for each cottage to use. When we did have a rain day, the television provided had a good selection of channels.The beach is beautiful and was awesome for daily walks. I would stay here again next time I visited the Island.

Awesome campground! My husband and I have stayed there for about 5 years,but 3years seasonal ,we love it! The owners are friendly people, they go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. It is a clean quiet place,friendly people, and the most amazing beach that you can spend hours at ! Love this place !!! Always stay here when we come from Ontario. The owner is super nice and never had any issues getting a site. We travel in our Trailer and have full hookup. The beach is amazing and you can walk for miles! Quiet here and they are dog friendly!! Love it.. sad to leave.

As someone who is in the Tavel Industry you know when you find a hidden Gem. I was invited as a guest last year during Covid to join my family for a weekend of rest and relaxation. And have had the chance to come back several times since I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Grabbing my book and sitting reading and looking at the beautiful ocean. You can’t beat it. The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen and I have seen a lot on many Caribbean islands. The hospitality of the campground owners was outstanding. Beautiful beach to walk on and to cool off. You are treated like family here. Very clean and friendly campground. If you run out of supplies less than 15 minutes either direction you can find what your looking for and usually more. If you are not looking for the hustle and bustle of a campground or just need to take a break from life This Is the place to be

We have been here a month and intend to come back next year. The beach is amazing, the owners are awesome, sun sets are fabulous. We have absolutely no complaints. You can't beat the price either. If it's the island you want, you get it here.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. They advertised washrooms showers, laundry facilities and a pool. We booked this place well in advance, and even spoke to the owner and he never once said nothing was available! Not even the pool, the beach was somewhat of a walk,and I wanted that at least! When I explained my disappointment he basically told me of 2 other campgrounds in the area and walked away

Have been seasonal here for at least 3 years. Quiet peaceful and very relaxing. Great beach, owners are great can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. Can walk the beach for hours.

Waterford has the most beautiful sunsets and beach on PEI! The best place for relaxation with sand between your toes listening to the sound of the waves. The owners are amazing to their guests very friendly and always making sure that they have everything they need. This is my second year seasonal and hope to be here for many more!

The view was remarkable. Steps away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean which was as warm as bath water!The cabins aren't anything to write home about but we only rent a cabin to sleep in. However, 3/5 windows were broken and when travelling with a toddler a humid space won't do! Since we weren't notified of the windows we didn't bring a fan-- so I wrote the owner an email. In this email I praised the view, and how nice our neighbours were. I apologized for not coming prepared and asked if they had a fan so our daughter could sleep soundly. Upon arrival the lady handed us the fan, and promptly asked if we needed anything else. Just as we said thank you, she reminded us that it was only a 2.5 star, only paid $450 and that she wouldn't be making 50 trips down to bring us things. She then told us to go to the beach to cool off.My wife and I were so appalled we were left speechless. Thankfully a ton of neighbours heard this and came over to say our request wasn't extraordinary.We both work in customer service and couldn't imagine speaking to anyone that way. Regardless of cost we chose them and made one request in the interest of our daughter. She belittled us and made us feel uncomfortable-- but since we paid we damn well enjoyed the beach and made lasting friendships out of it.

The view is amazing! My family and all our cousins come down for a week and stay here every other year to visit family. We never really get bored because of the beach and we play card games in the cabins when the weather isn’t great. It’s also right next to Kenny Shore Road, which is named after my family since it’s where my dad’s cousins grew up. It’s one of my favorite places to be and i’m definitely looking forward to coming back!
