Cation Wildlife Preserve
Great place to hike and see signs of wildlife. Definitely agree with other reviews that there are many ticks. Better to go in the early spring/late fall or winter.

Cation Wildlife Preserve
A few trails in an undeveloped part of the Kawarthas. Mix of meadow and wooded trails. Be warned - our walk in mid-July resulted in many ticks as promised by the signed warning. Unsure if they are deer ticks or otherwise, but be tick-wary! On our walk, the deer flies were also very thick, so come prepared.

Cation Wildlife Preserve
Very pretty but got covered in large ticks in a matter of a few minutes. There’s a sign that warns you of ticks but we were covered! Visit in the winter.
