Diamond in the Ruff Grooming

Finding a good groomer for a large/giant dog is difficult, I heard about Diamond in the Ruff and bombarded her with many questions, Sue was great at responding and letting me know that everything would be fine and I had nothing to worry about. When we arrived she allowed Faber to become comfortable with his surroundings and her and her equipment. She allowed me to watch and help her as we weren't sure how he would do climbing onto her table etc., she has things set up amazing for all sizes of dogs and her safety. He absolutely loved his visit, his fur was very soft and smelled awesome. He returned a couple times between spa days as Sue worked on getting his nails just right. His most recent visit he just walks in, smells around and hops on table ready to be spoiled, and that is exactly what he gets....from the first soak to the snuggles along the way and his final photo which get posted on Diamond in the Ruff group so all can see her amazing work. Well done Sue, Faber loves his spa days and we are glad we found you.

She will work to meet your needs, whether that is answering all your questions and showing you what you can do at home or just having you drop off your dog for one of her professional grooms. After moving to St. Thomas last summer, we needed to find someone local to groom our feisty mini labradoodle. After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give Sue a try and was very impressed with her. She is very thorough and clearly cares about the dogs she grooms. Lucy can be a handful but Sue seems to have a lot of patience. I also love that she uses natural products. I think we have found our new groomer! :)

Sue took the time to get to know what we wanted and explained what she would do. She genuinely cared about our dog, Molly's, experience and made her feel at home. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a groomer in the St. Thomas area.

I have been looking for another dog groomer in the St. Thomas area for well over a year. I was not pleased with the groomer we had been going to. Today - we brought out dog Lily to Diamond in the Ruff Grooming. Sue was friendly, professional, and did a FANTASTIC job!!! Lily looks better than she ever has before. I HIGHLY recommend bringing your pet to Diamond in the Ruff Grooming, you won't be disappointed.

This review is in regards to the earlier review by Nikki. I am the owner of the dog in the review. I am happy with the services Sue provides for all three of my dogs. Mitsie was long overdue for her grooming appointment. I was aware of the extra fee because of this. In fact, It wasnt an overpayment because Sue gives me a discounted rate for my three elderly fur babies. I know Sue bathed her. She has warts that produce an odor. Appointment times are set for a reason. Just like any other appointment, you are expected to be on time. Please disregard that post by Nikki. I am completely satisfied with the grooming services. The dogs look and smell fantastic when I come to pick them up. I would recommend Sue to any other future clients. Keep up the good work Sue!!!

Sue is truly the best groomer I’ve met. I’ve brought my dogs to other groomers and they were not good experiences. Sue explains what she does and will teach owners how to do basic grooming at home. If you ask a question that she doesn’t know the answer to (which doesn’t happen often) she does research and gets back to you. She cares for your pet as though they were her own. I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed!
