A horrible experience. Hubby brought our 6 yr old in, our son was threatened and belittled by the owner, and then the two of them were told to leave. All because our little man said he was itchy and scrunched up his shoulders.If you want a haircut where your child will be talked to like this… you now know where to go:“I’ll send you home like this…”“you will have to go to school like this”“all the kids are going to make fun of you”“Do you like being made fun of?”“Ok I’m done - get out of here!”Maybe don’t have the set-up to have kids in your barbershop if you can’t stand them??

This is the second visit to Isaac's Barber Shop. This time, I brought my son along. Impressed with my hair cut, I gave free rein for the barber to give the Best Kids Cut" ever. Went to see Isaac this morning. This is the best haircut I've had since living in Medicine Hat. The space has the old school barber shop feel to it. Isaac was very personable, and clearly a master of his craft. If you want a fantastic haircut, go see Isaac. He's definitely earned my business. If you go Tuesday, it's $20 Tuesday. Regular price for a cut is $30, plus tip.**Update** The shop has moved to 220 South railway Street! Great new location. Absolutely must come check this place out!!

Don't go there, I can't actually say anything else except this should be Isaac's butcher, not barber, and I was the one to recommend this place resulting in the worst intentional hair cut we have ever seen

Moved from Ontario and was so glad to have found this barber shop. Jessica is such an amazing and talented barber! Does a mean fade and a perfect job every single time. You book by appointment on certain days and the rest is walk in so you can pick and choose what you want to do.

Best barber shop in town. The quality shows there is true passion and knowledge behind their art. Extremely good pricing, conversation, and experience. I look forward to visiting Medicine Hat again just to get a hair cut! Well done!! (Hopefully there's beer on the menu soon)

This is a mixed review, went last year to try and get a haircut and they were too busy, went today and the guy who does flat tops was there but injured and unable to cut a flat top. I called ahead to confirm and she said to come in and yes they do flat tops. It’s a nice shop and the haircuts look great but it’s hugely disappointing to not ever be able to have a haircut. If the planets align and you are able to actually have a haircut it will likely be great.

I am beyond thrilled with my first experience at Issac’s! I took my son for a back-to-school clean-up and he walked out of there looking a foot taller with confidence! Not only was the service top-notch, but the eclectic atmosphere of Isaac’s made me want to just sit and chill. Great music, great vibe, great service… all around awesome… we definitely found our new barber shop!
