The Kanata Inns - Blairmore Hotel

The hotel itself is nice. There is a pizza and donair place reattached to it. I stayed for four nights in a single bed room. The room is on the smaller side. There is also no pool at the hotel or hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is good and cookies at the front desk are yummy. My biggest complaint is regarding the checkout. I asked for a late check out for noon the night before and they were able to accommodate, but the next day when I came back at 1030 am (90 minutes before noon) from work to get a quick rest and check to make sure nothing was left in the room I found it being cleaned by one of the staff. Very inconsiderate considering I requested the late checkout and never returned the keys or told them I was checking out. They were apologetic about it but it doesn't help at this point. I probably will stay here again in the future, but will make sure the checkout times are clarified and adhered to.

I’ve been to the Kanata 5 times so far in 2023 and each time has been an excellent experience! The rooms are kept tidy, and the housekeeping staff does an amazing job. The ladies working at the front desk are incredibly kind. They check in during each stay to make sure everything is going well, and when you have a question, it’s super easy to text guest services and each time I have had an answer within minutes. I would recommend staying at the Kanata if you are looking for a hotel in the Crowsnest Pass area.

Our family spent 5 nights in this hotel, we had 4 rooms booked between us. The staff were very friendly, the maids were very kind and the hotel was very well maintained and clean. The rooms were very sound proof, we had 4 rooms in a row and I have children and they were quite loud and my family in the next rooms could not hear them. The includes breakfast was your typical breakfast; oatmeal, fresh milk, juice, fresh fruit, yogurts, coffee, tea and pancakes and toast. I would highly recommend this hotel, very close to everything and just off the highway.

Everything about this place is lovely, except what I believe to be their inhouse pet policy. On the website children under 18 cannot be left unattended, but it doesnt say that about pets. They have you sign the pet policy as you arrive. Eventhough you pay extra per pet. So my question is - does BCMInns promote leaving dogs in cars in the middle of summer? Dogs cannot go into restaurants with their owners, so where else should they be??

I'd book my stay at this awesome hotel everytime I'll be in that area. The staff are just fantastic people, who goes above n beyond their call of duty.On checking in Alyssa was working it was a jovial experience. We chatted like we knew each other from childhood. The Manager who happened to be present shared amazing stories.Cleanliness, location, satisfaction were A+ well the scenic views surrounding the hotel just euphoric. I'd stay there for years if possible.

Nice people. Very nice room. Our dog loved it. Nice walking oaths by the river. We did some fishing in the Livingstons on the Old Man River. Will definitely go again.

Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice amenities, friendly staff, great continental breakfast, nice ambiance, coffee in the rooms. Great location - would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Kanata Blairmore on our way to Osoyoos. It was a very busy place but it is incredibly clean. Beds are comfortable. There is a pizza place on site that has the best pizza & very good service. The free continental breakfast was great & the breakfast room was spotless. The staff are amazing. There are free cookies when you check in. We will definitely stay there again.

Awesome spot. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, continental breakfast. Close to grocery, gas, Tim’s, Main St. brewery, hiking, biking etc. perfect for a short stay in Blairmore.
