Toronto Hockey Repair

A couple years back, we bought used skates from this store. One pair was hockey skates and the other pair was figure skates. We had no idea about skates at all at that point since we were buying our first skates there.The figure skates they recommended had absolutely no ankle support. The figure skates were unusable, but we thought figure skates were supposed to be like that.They probably knew that those figure skates were terrible and just wanted to get rid of them. They saw us not knowing anything, so it was their perfect opportunity to sell them to us. My girlfriend threw them out after trying a couple times, and I got her a new pair of skates.I don’t know how they are operating their store now, but I personally wound not go back to this store because of the bad experience we had back then. I am writing this review just now because we were just passing by the store and remembered what we got from them.

5 star great service got my goalie pads re strapped n velcroed amazing job tried them out today at the local rink near me n they feel so much better now that I can adjust them to my legs as the old straps where woren out. I highly recommend I wish there was a place like this closer by my place. The owner was just phenomenal great attitude super polite n very helpful thank you so much. To anyone needing there hockey gear repaired this is the place to go. Only one of its kind so worth the drive. Thank you again.

I always tell the guys in my league to go to THR when they need something fixed. The staff here can fix anything! Great quality service, prices and workmanship.They keep my gear in great shape. I go here for all my goalie needs! Perfect skate sharpening too!

Came here to sharpen my figure skates. Great price for a quality skate sharpening - they really know what they’re doing. We also ended up buying a pair of hockey skates. They had lots of sizes available within our budget. Would highly recommend coming here for anything hockey or skate related.

Simply put, there's no better hockey store. I've been getting equipment here for a few years now and the atmosphere and help you receive is unmatched compared to the big box stores.I just bought a new pair of skates, received a lot of great information while going through the process, and when narrowing down to 2 pairs, one of which was $200 more, I was recommended to get the cheaper pair because it'll personally serve me better. That's a business that cares about you and isn't concerned with getting the most money out of you. I won't go anywhere else for anything hockey.

Very nice owner...gr8 guy but just not happy w/the actual repair job on my blocker..upper stuff was good but im upset w/the blocker...price was ok but fckman..i gotta redo the blocker so im gonna have 2 pay again...i knw its not easy he said he had 2 wrk on fixing the stuff 4 2hrs but i had 2 wrk 6hrs 2 earn that money @least align the palm properly...

The staff was very helpful with answering all my questions I had over the phone. I’m hoping to get down to them soon to fix a pair of hockey gloves

My dad first took me to Toronto Hockey Repair in the early 90s to buy used goalie pads. I've been coming back ever since. Their service and quality of work is second to none. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They just re-palmed my blocker over the weekend and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, the quality now seems better than when it was new. It's that good! Thank you so much!PS - The only bad thing about Toronto Hockey Repair is that every time I go there, I always wanna buy more stuff. You've been warned! lol

The owner was super nice! Equipment had some amazing and affordable prices! I’m not from the area however I’d still visit there for all my hockey needs!
