Ok, this is the new review: They tried. I think they are great at transmissions, so if you need transmission work, these are your guys, but you have to do the communication part. Also, don't rush them. When they do get to it, it'll be fixed at a reasonable price.

Terrible experience here. Towed vehicle in was told i would recieve a free diagnose. 3 months or more pass and im called to pickup my fixed vehicle. He tells me he fixed transmission aswell as transfer case. So price was a bit more. He then lies to me and tells me my transmission needs to learn to drive with the new computer in the vehicle as its new to it. This wasnt the case, he just didnt fix it properly, or call me before doing any work with my free diagnose. Im now down $2600 and still have a non working vehicle.

Bell housing on the 2009 ford escape started leaking all the fluid out and needed repair bad . I called and they gave me decent quote and got the job done for a very decent price . I was from out of town with my family and told him I needed it right away to get back to work. They got it in and out right away in a good timely manner

Elliot at borderline was the most friendly and helpful mechanic! He saved the day fixing my coolant pump which would have left me stranded from out of town on a long weekend (and didn't gouge me on the cost either)Highly recommend this shop!

Awesome experience! They diagnosed and fixed my transmission problem for $500 after another outfit quoted me $5,000. Integrity, honesty and quality. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and work! Thanks Bob and Ed for seeing me last minute. The Subaru needed a few oil changes, but came out with various other problems diagnosed, discussed with me and then fixed. Hard to find better service and quality. I would absolutely recommend stopping in and having a chat about your vehicle.
