Shoppers Drug Mart

I can understand just once in a while but EVERY SINGLE TIME that I go to pick up my prescriptions, I call ahead and they say that it’s already ready. whenever I go to pick it up though there’s always some sort of problem with insurance and I’m stuck waiting 10 minutes? constantly feel like my time is wasted. I actually am going on 27 minutes so far waiting for my prescription right now when it was even called in and I was told the prescription was “ready for pickup”. The pharmacy workers don’t seem to care at all. Wouldn’t recommend

Perfect location for this store. Awesome service. Store had a little of everything. Prices good too, had lots of sales. The co-worker had trouble finding someone to help get a locked item the only downside.

Instead of 150 tabs of a medication, they gave me less than 100 tabs. I was so confused by this and assumed it was my mistake. The lady on the phone was super friendly and helped me figure out the day they were last picked up, but it didn’t add up. She handed me over to the pharmacist and I explained to him that there was no way that I used all of the pills and that they must have made a mistake. He made it sound like he didn’t believe it was the pharmacy’s mistake, he offered me some more tabs, but I told him that still wouldn’t add up to 150. Throughout the whole process I felt blamed and uncomfortable. I don’t understand how they miscounted by that much.

There needs to be consistency with their Post Office. I understand that they may be short-staffed therefore only having one person work at the desk. However, It would be nice if the person working at desk took their lunch around the same time.I walked in there the one day around 1pm to pick up a package. And the sign had said that the person was on their lunch break and wouldn't be back till around 2 pm. I couldn't wait as I had to return to my job. And due to Shopper's post office being short-staffed, they cut their hours of operation. Being open until 5 pm. my job has me working until around 6-7 pm during the week. So now I have to wait until weekends to pick-up or drop-off mail. Another time, on the weekend, I was running errands, I needed to send a letter. I went to Shopper's around 3pm, and lone behold, the person was on their lunch and wouldn't be back until 4:30 pm. At that point I was irritated. There is no consistency. I don't have a choice to pick-up packages when they're dropped off at Shoppers when I'm not home, but I definitely won't be dropping off mail for them to send.

Very disappointed with the service received at the pharmacy today. I came in with our benefit plan information to pickup a prescription for my daughter. The lady who served me at the counter was nice enough. She requested help from her colleagues who made me feel incompetent because they couldn't key in the proper insurance plan for us. I was told we don't have any registered beneficiaries. Long story short I ended up paying out of my own pocket to come home and open the prescription bag to find no medication inside. I think the staff need to slow down a bit and treat others like humans to avoid these circumstances.

Poor customer service - I got to the self checkout and an item that had a sale price on the shelf was not coming up as the sale price. I brought this to the clerk's attention and she went to check. She brought back the label and said, yes, it was on sale but it ended yesterday. Sorry. She would not apply the sale price despite it being falsely labelled. I have no issue with self checkout but the reality is we are already doing most of your job as a clerk and now the expectation is we validate the fine print on sales labels as well before purchasing. Come on, get it together as that's not a reasonable expectation to have on your customers. A better approach to customer service would have been to honor the sale price and remove the tag so other customers don't experience the same issue. This is what other stores do that care about their patrons. I suppose I will start shopping at the drug store down the road.

I've been having a really hard time with my 3 year old regarding sleep (and thus, his behavior) and approached the pharmacy with melatonin and tears in my eyes and asked if it was safe. The pharmacist and the girl behind the counter were amazing. They made me feel normal and not crazy. They were kind and compassionate and provided as much info to help me as they could. I genuinely appreciate them, and I walked out much calmer.

Love this store and the Pharmacy. The workers are always very helpful and there is quite a good variety of stuff to buy. The Pharmacy team is great and always ready to help you!!
