Nothing on the website about accepting only nonferrous or ferrous metals on certain days. Waste of time driving there. So much for beings responsible about recycling.

This place has dodgy practises with what they pay and what they tell you theyll pay you, checking it when you drive in physically looking in the truck touching the metal checking with a magnet and looking around but then changing it once your unloaded to a lesser amountDont go here. Ill go to another yard because even if they pay a little less per pound Ive never been taken advantage of at another yard like I have here

Very easy and quick. Very nice people. Got some money for old metal definitely worth the trip.My only regret was not taking my kid to see all the stuff going on there!

This place deserves a 0 star said they were open til 4:30 I came there and was told I needed a hard hat and vest told them I'd be right back. They knew I was on my way back had a full trailer full of metals I needed gone out my seacan. I came back at 3:50 and they had told me they're closed. I wanted 1 hour getting here to be told I need a vest and helmet. I then drove home and back and wasted another hour. This is so unacceptable this is most likely why they don't have much business like they used to.

Open hours are never what there hours are. Mill is always down being fixed. They hire all Temps and have a huge turn around of employees. They hire inexperienced loader operators and do NOT train or teach them before letting them drive. They are absolutely the most useless recycling plant in Calgary and not public friendly. Two women in the whole yard and not one of them k is what to do.and also they guess all your loads so your always paying them for nothing. That’s what a scale is for like wow. Try an different business cause only a couple people might be able to run that place

The reciept without the blue is Navajo, the load was all one material everything the same but in the end after dumping everything all 1080 lbs of aluminum in the same aluminum pile they starting trying to change what they said theyd pay and split everything into different categories. They paud only 351.64$ for 1080 LBS OF ALUMINUM After their scammery I took the second load of the same tore down cubicles which was a smaller load to Calgary MetalThe reciept with the blue on it is from Calgary metal. The rest of the load was a total of 328lbs and they paid me 242.72 JUST FOR THAT.By this logic Navajo scammed me out of approcimetly $799. I could say a whole lot to these -people- but ill leave you with that !

Fair to good prices, easy first time experience to get the jist of how they work. Will return for future scrap runs. They do ask alot of questions at cash counter which im not against kinda weeds out the thieves.

Normally go to Calgary Metal. Tried these guys for the first time. Dropped of a shred load the 'machine' gave me some cash which I put straight in my pocket with the reciept. Walked out and in the truck took it out its was about 340 and change took the money and reciept out and there was only 2 100 dollars bills. Went right back in and they said they saw no error in the machine sorry. Ok.. have to dou ke count next time right there what can we do.Went another time. With a huge load of aluminum. Drove in, he checked my load and confirmed yes thats clean aluminum thats good grade your getting top clean price for this. After dumping then another man came. And said it was dirty because he found one sticker the size of a small price tag on a few of the massive pieces of aluminum. Serious? Ok. Im happy to remove those! 40 frames and a one here or there you missed telling me its clean and I missed ok, let me grab those. Easy its a few. Then they started to try to make other reasons but couldnt show me directly what and why. Its welded they said so its mix. Welded with aluminum so what is the problem. They couldnt explain it. They ended up paying MOST of my clean aluminum as shred. Losing hundreds of dollars!!This would have been close to a 600 dollar load I spent the time and resources to clean this aluminum and I got about a 300 payoutI wouldnt trust this scrap place with anything anymore. You cant check a guys scrap on the way in and say this is good and clean the change it when the whole load is the same. YOU CHECKED IT. They are con artists who waiting until the load was dumped off.They dont show you your weigh in when you go in or out its only in their office and these 2 incidents on my first 2 visits. Come on. I was recomended to try here by someone and ive told her what happened and she is never going back again either and thinks this is wild too. And their 'machine' accidentally not giving the right amount. I wonder hpw often that happrns. But the real theft was today and my huge aluminum load. They PAID me shred for aluminum which they had me drop off NOT in the shred area but with the other clean aluminum!No wonder both time I went they were so slow with customers.Scammers

Guy at the front gate was funny, the employee in the yard on the other hand was a shy bit on the least of helpful hands to say the least. Ended up just leaving and heading to Blackfoot metals.

Had to hand-bomb 8 ton of PREPPED metal in barrels because they didn't want to move the grapple and the magnet was broken. And for a place that quotes themself on customer service... There were a lot of clean folk walking around and not assisting.
