Not sure why they have such low ratings. I am sure it is due to the fact that people find this store expensive. This is the purpose of sporting life, they carry high end products and make you feel part of the experience. Bought some stuff today that was 70% off and didn’t feel like I was less as a person and was treated any different. The service was excellent minus a little old lady in the corner of the woman’s section, she seemed upset that I unfolded a rain coat haha. Other than that I would say it was part of the experience. They even gave recommendations for a vest how to wear it.

Terrible service!! :/I got a Patagonia jacket and unfortunately 2 weeks later I realized there was a little defect on the item.I went back to the store as the lady who sold me the item told me “keep your receipt so if anything happens we can exchange it”.I went back to the store and the store manager at Dix30 told me it was not possible, that i should have kept the price tag (but how would i know to keep the price tag?? I did not want a refund!! I just wanted one that was made properly.) and then he told me that i was trying to steal from the company….They told me to go on the website and deal with Patagonia myself.What a terrible service, the guy was rude.I came in really nicely and spoke really politely as i work in costumer service as well.Guess what?? I went on the website and it said that if there is any issue with the jacket to return it where it was bought.So i guess they better have a staff meeting or something to get their information straight. Don’t believe a word they say.

This store is absolutely stunning! The staff are extremely professional and nice. I returned an online order, made and returned an in-store purchase. Returns are seamless, without any restocking fee another reviewer mentioned. They offered free customization and molding with the purchase of ski boots. Great deals for Black Friday started a week ahead. Definitely highly recommended! It's a surprise some other reviews are less than glowing. They probably revamped their policies and attitude after those reviews. Definitely a pleasure to shop here now.

Worst customer service.I went to the store to buy an item that saw online available in the store. So I went to the department and asked for it. The sales associate said it is not available, then I showed her in my phone the website of Sporting Life said this product and size is available. She go to the storage and come back with the item. I thanked her and went to the cashier.The cashier lady I showed her that there is another store in dix30 the sells the exact same item and same size 20$ less so I wanted to do the price match since all the other criteria were met. She argued me that I need to have a proof that other store in dix30 has the item available (like I can go to purchase there) I told her if they I go there and find it why would I bother to come and buy it from you? She responded you can go buy it from there. I tell her your argue doesn't make sense. Why you are not following the policy? Then her manager asks her to do the transaction.There are many stores around you and you aren't the busiest one, train your sales team to be more customers centric, teach them the policies, invest in them. They don't need to shiver if someone prefer to speak English more that French.

We are lucky to have the only one Sporting Life in Québec and it's within Dix30. Beautiful store, very polite employees, excellent customer service for online return and exchange and they also price match online and local stores.It's just missing big sales and price tags to attract more customers.

This retailer has terrible customer service, don’t order anything online they don’t provide any protection against lost or stolen products and their shipper just leaves orders on the street on first try without signature. No phone number to call either, all online.

Very disappointed by this company, but now reading the reviews I see I am not the only one. I ordered a ski helmet and 2 balaclavas, they were shipped in 2 separate packages and both ‘got lost’ . Very bad customer service, I ‘be trying to find out what happened and it took them a month to ‘ investigate’ and in the end no responsability taken, no refund and no replacement… they checked with carrier that claims was left at the front door on a day and at a time when we were home … we order online a lot and never had any lost orders like that.Extremely disappointing! STAY AWAY!
