Update (June 2022): We just had Tanja and her team back to help us paint the exterior of our home and some new interior window trim, and we were just as thrilled with their work this time around! Tanja helped us connect with a colour consultant to select the best palette for our exterior and Norma, Florian, and Nadia worked diligently to complete the job quickly and carefully. What I appreciated almost above anything else was the clear and timely communication from Tanja and/or Michelle. We always knew what stage we were at with our contract and what to expect. We continue to recommend Powell Painting wholeheartedly!June 2020: Tanja and her painters Norma and Amber were fantastic to work with. They completed a full interior repaint of our 100 year-old home before we moved in and took it from a mishmash of crazy colours to a beautiful warm white throughout. The quality of the paint job was impressive, and our home was left in excellent shape. Tanja was professional, responsive and competitive in her pricing to help us stay within our budget. She was incredibly helpful throughout the consultation process to help us choose paint, finishes, and colours that would best suit our needs, and when we noticed one wall in our kitchen wasn't holding paint very well a few weeks later (an issue that was completely out of their control), Tanja came same-day to inspect the wall and Norma & Amber were back the next business day to resolve the issue. Fantastic experience. I came to Powell Painting after a couple of other companies said they couldn't do a small job" right now (single room) - as they were too busy and it wasn't big enough. No such response from Powell. They were right on it! They hooked me up with a great designer

My husband is a man of few words. “Powell Painting is a High Quality Operation.”I could not agree more, but want to elaborate.We survived the teen and school-age years much better than the interior of our house did. It was well overdue for a refresh 13 years after the last painting and our designer recommend Powell to tackle 2700 square feet up and down plus a 35 year-old popcorn stucco ceiling.I have to start with the ceiling (they did). It got planed and sanded, the HepaVac creating minimal dust with the crew painstakingly protecting all the floors, sealing doors and tidying up at the end of every day. Honestly such a worthwhile difference when it was done.Tanja the owner is very particular (more picky than I!) and has so much experience and good ideas, such as how to improve the worn look of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. With a thorough knowledge of the best way to do things, best materials and best referrals (trades), she also offered great advice on colour and design. Her quote was comprehensive and accurate.Our painter (a drywall expert to boot) was easy to get along with, punctual, reliable, and so hard-working. On time and on Budget, everything was put back in order just as before.And the follow-up! Every detail attended to, they noticed little things to amend that we wouldn’t have and ensured our absolute satisfaction.This company is truly Professional - Open, Honest, Fair, Considerate, Courteous, Friendly, Detail-Oriented, Careful and Precise. You cannot do better, stop looking.

The Powel painting company under name of Tanja was the introduced by our builder as a most high end company and accordingly estimated the highest prices . After finishing the job and all invoices paid and cleared . When We moved in our new house we faced several unfinished / insufficients in painting as well.We sent email and she came accepted and took photos of all defects and promised to arrange sending his worker to fix the paintings .One week later to much of our surprize she claimed 2 invoices never seen and incorrect . We never expect such irresponsibility in the business.We all family are unhappy and having a bad feeling to see such cases while we have paid very expensive prices for painting and in total .

Powell Painting was recommended us by a friend, and we had such a great experience working with Tanya and her team. We received quotes from several painters, but are so glad we chose to work with Powell. From start to finish, Tanya was great to work with. She is very detailed-oriented and offered some great design and colour recommendations to us. Her team did an excellent job and were very thorough - they were all professional, polite and hardworking. Tanya did a walk through at the end to catch some minor details and do some final touch ups- this was very much appreciated. The walls inside our older home look brand new and the rest of our home now looks fantastic! Would highly recommend.
