This is a beautiful place with wonderful service. Very friendly and helpful reception, and the breakfast was delicious. Clean room. Best place we ever stayed at. Very deserving of all 5 stars.

We loved staying at this little gite when we went on our sea kayaking adventure. The cute little room was a perfect spot to come back to after out adventures on the fjord and the four course meal at the end of the day was absolutely scrumptious, healthy and very well done. We will definitely stay any time we are in the Saguenay.

We had a lovely dinner here last night. The restaurant is small and cozy with several windows overlooking the cove, and is located in a beautiful heritage building that was once the inn for the village in the early 1900’s. The food was fantastic and so reasonably priced! I had a fresh green salad with Quebec goat cheese and dates, a delicious cream of vegetable soup, a tasty steak and potatoes with carrots and sprouts, and a knock out chocolate mousse. And they also have a very decent wine list. The proprietor Rita is also the chef. I highly recommend a visit here. They also have rooms if you’re inclined to spend the evening in L’Anse St-Jean.

Auberge La Fjordelaise
Staying at this Auberge was one of the best choices of our vacation. We bought the all inclusive stay with bed breakfast and dinner and everything was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and so cozily decorated. We stayed in room 5 and we had a beautiful direct view of the fjord. The food was some of the best in our entire trip, most notably their scallop dish and the Nagano pork dish. The service is so friendly and they are always there to make sure you have everything you need. During your stay here, you'll feel like family. I would whole heartedly recommend staying at Auberge la fjordelaise :)

This is the most wonderful auberge we have ever stayed! Amazing view with gourmet food. We stayed a night here with dinner and breakfast, it’s an amazing experience. Both dinner and breakfast are amazing tasting, and the room is wonderful, quiet nice decor with beautiful view! Super nice and polite service. You will be spoiled staying here! If I could give them 29 stars, I would! Highly recommended!
