Best kept secret in Bowmanville, home away from home for +55. They have lots of activities for all age groups whether you are member or non member. The staff is the best, volunteers help run day to day. Everyone smiles when you enter the doors, drop in for coffee or lunch, exercise, cards, painting, woodworking just to name a few of the activities. Can't drive they have door to door service for a small fee. I can't talk enough about it come in and take a tour.

The BOAA is an amazing facility that offers an incredible array of courses, classes, clinics and social events. Arts & crafts, fitness, music, dancing, active living, card games, shows, bistro nights, movie nights and so much more! The cafe offers the best lunch deals in town, the staff and volunteers are always friendly and helpful, and the calendar of events is ever fresh with fun new offerings. The BOAA is a unique resource in Durham region, offering a most fulsome suite of activities and events for anyone 55+. Open to members and non-members, it is the best place to make new friends, have fun, take classes and enjoy Chef Julia's delicious offerings!

The BOAA is a great place to visit. It offers so many programs like a golf league is the spring/ summer. I volunteer for Ribfest and it is very rewarding.

Did a presentation on Drone 101 for the Bowmanville Camera Club. Nice place and friendly people of the club.
