Halton County Radial Railway Museum

This is a great place to visit and explore. The people are friendly, the trains are cool, the ice cream is great. Today someone explained to us all the work they were doing on one of the trains; another gentleman told us the history of the street car we rode; another volunteer talked about a historic train line from the 50s. It was all interesting, educational, and fun.

What a great place to bring your kids to. Friendly staff/volunteers that are knowledgeable and really know their history. We were able to ride three of their streetcars and enjoyed hearing a bit of history on each one. Also able to enjoy some iced cream. A good place to spend about 2-3hrs of your day. Highly recommend.

I came to the Halton County Radial Railway Museum with my son and we both had an amazing time.This was our first time here. The experience of being able to take a ride and enjoy those old streetcars was just fantastic.The volunteers are out of this world. You can see in their faces that they love what they do and with such a pride.We had the opportunity to ride on two of their streetcars. We took the short and also the long ride.... just awesome.We enjoyed the stop at the ice cream shop and the walk in the area.The train display was also great.My son enjoyed pushing the button in order to move the train around.What my son liked the most, was to be able to climb most of the streetcars at the museum. He yelled All aboard"

We had a great day at the Halton county radial railway museum. It's totally run by volunteers and they're doing a great job. Friendly and informative. It included stops at the ice cream shop, the Cafe and the garden with frog pond. We actually seen quite a few frogs. The fall colours were fabulous as the train cut through the woods.It may be the past but it should be the future with clean" transportation.The 1st two weekends of December they are doing Christmas

This place was great. The staff were all professional and they seem to really enjoy thier work. It's hard to believe they are all volunteers. Concessions here are pretty cheap too unlike other places that charge ridiculous prices for basic things.It's recommended that you bring cash as there is no ATM and only one debit machine in the front office. Cash is the way to go. Can't wait to visit again.

Great collection of old streetcars and subway cars. All the volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The highlight for me was the streetcar ride through forest which was especially beautiful given the fall colours. Definitely will be back to experience it in the other seasons.

This museum is an amazing visit. They have a barn full of old streetcars and subway equipment in varying states of restoration, plus a 1.8 mile loop of track where they run cars that you can ride for free with admission. It's living history and absolutely worth the $25 entry.

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Halton County Radial Railway Museum! There are many great old Streetcars to see and ride plus a fantastic barn full of vintage trolleys, streetcars and subway cars as well as a few modern streetcars too! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to get one of their volunteers named Larry on many of our rides around the property and he had so much information. He was a fantastic guide! I highly recommend a visit! I came from Toronto and I can say that it's worth the drive to Halton to see the museum!

The trip to the museum was an unexpected treat. The collection of functional streetcars, trains and trams is amazing. It is like stepping into a time machine. Huge thanks to all the volunteers, who provide lots of interesting facts and historical insights. I would love to come back on Christmas for special events.
