Aleppo Kebab
Had a great experience. We travelled about an hour to try out this spot. Staff was super friendly and the owner came by just to chat with us. The food is all fresh, you can actually see them making it. We had the mixed platter, fantastic, meat was well seasoned, and you could taste the char on the meat, the the grilled whole onions, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers. Portion sizes are great as well, you wont be disappointed. They gave us extra pita as everything was just so good. It's worth the drive.

I made my decision to go here based on other reviews. This is not a place to be disappointed. It's the opposite. Amazing food. I've tried other places and other foods but this place tops the charts in quality. The meat is very well marinated. A must go and a definite repeat.

Amazing food! The kebabs were all very juicy and full of flavour. Serving size was good for one person(individual order). The bread tasted amazing as well. We have also tried the group platter once and that also was great with variety of kebabs; the only thing lacking was rice and when we ordered rice separately, it wasn’t worth the price. Only a little amount of rice came for about $10, which wasn’t worth it. Overall, one of the best tasting kebabs that I have had. The Shish Taouk (chicken) and Beef cubes were the best. Highly recommend!

Amazing kebabs. Everything was perfectly cooked with just the right level of seasoning and char. No dry pieces of meat here!There are so many great restaurants on this stretch of Lawrence but I'd say Aleppo ranks in the top 3, without a doubt.

Mouthwatering food and great service. I loved their mix platter although I wish I wouldn’t have had to pay extra for some rice. A mix platter, small rice, and 3 drinks will cost you about $60 with tax. A bit pricy to say the least but the food makes up for it in taste. Loved their humus and garlic sauce too. I wanted to try the cheese rolls but unfortunately the budget didn’t allow it. They have limited seating so I would suggest take-out.

Just amazing! We came here from downtown after watching their review on various Instagram posts and it did not disappoint! We had their half Aleppo kebab skewers and it was amazing! Super moist and flavourful! Their homemade hummus and garlic sauce was superb! The staff is friendly and courteous. Definitely would be a regular here.

Excellent food reminiscent of home, made by truly joyful and caring business owners.I was searching for places in the area to have healthy filling meals and found Aleppo. They have my favourite, Turkish Adana kebab, and everything is freshly made and delicious. I would come back for the food alone, but the service was above and beyond that I will definitely come back.We got the Adana platter, Aleppo 1/2 kilo, and thought the meal was so good I bought a 1kg Adana to take home for dinner. We also got to try the rice (really good curry flavour, and the fries which were super crisp and fluffy in the inside - haven’t had fries this good in so long!). The meals came with hummus, pickles, salad, sweet grilled onions and hot peppers - be careful the peppers are spicy, just wash it down with some ayran!

Very friendly staff and a good menu. I got two mixed platters to share with my family and some sides. Portions aren't amazing compared to a few other naan and kebab spots I've been to but food is all pretty good. The total bill for 7 people came to 150+. I'd personally recommend the lamb, it was a family favorite. The chicken was the least liked for our family. I'd definitely come again.Keep in mind this place does get very busy so it may be a bit difficult to find seating if you plan on coming with a large group.
