I've been training at Dunamis for about a year now and have to say it's one of the best training environments I've ever been to. In addition to the world-class level of martial arts training Jake and the other coaches provide, Jake has created a uniquely equitable, diverse, and inclusive community for which I am thankful to be a part of.

Great gym for muay thai, kickboxing, and boxing in Calgary! Awesome instruction, super nice and extremely knowledgeable coaches, great atmosphere for all levels from beginners to pros and a very welcoming and inclusive community. One of the best gyms in North America and I say that with confidence.

I highly recommend this gym if you are in Calgary! Jake is a head coach and fighter, and all instructors are very skilled and friendly. They are always welcome and willing to help you when it needed. All classes are a good fit for beginners and who's been training Muay Thai. You won't miss any of the good workouts and techniques in each class! I'm blast joining this gym and can't wait to spend another year here.

My husband discovered dunamis a couple years back and I was amazed how quickly they became family to him. I first met Jake and the team when my husband introduced us so that I could make Jake's walkout shirts, he offered me a free class and would always ask when I would be joining the team. Eventually I decided to take a shot and signed up, everyone was so welcoming and it was truly one of the best workouts I've ever had! It was nice seeing my husband get his but kicked by the other fighters, not in a harmful way but just enough to give me satisfaction haha. He always got up and continued to push through which I saw as very motivational. I had to stop due to us expecting our first kid, but lord knows we'll be back in there as a family one day. For the time being I'll be on the side line making Jake's shirts and supporting them during their fights!

Dunamis!! What a place to be, I am so thankful my brother introduced me to this gym because no other place has kicked my but like this one has! Losing pregnancy fat is always hard, Muay Thai definitely did the job tho! From the start I can see why my brother fell in love with this place, Jake makes everyone laugh especially with all the funny nick names. I got lil Habibi after my brother. Everyone had my back when it came to brother which I found to be very warming. No gym will ever take dunamis spot because it's the gym for our family!!

Dunamis is an amazing gym, from the first day I entered I have felt very welcomed by the community of Dunamis and now the gym has become a part of my weekly life. The lessons are useful for anyone of any skill level, the atmosphere is wonderful and all the coaches are amazing to work with. Dunamis is constantly giving more and more for the money I provide, they've almost doubled the amount of classes being offered. I highly recommend everyone come take a trial at the gym, I'm sure you'll fall in love with it as I did!

Super welcoming community, as a female it can be intimidating to enter a Boxing/Muay Thai gym, but Jake and his team ensure you feel at ease and accepted. My daughter and I love attending class and sparring for women!! 20/10 recommend for anyone wanting to get into training full time or just for extra fitness.

I've been going to Dunamis for almost two years, and it has been an awesome experience. My son was attending the kids' program (which he loves) and I was so impressed I signed up myself. Jake and the other trainers aren't just fantastic fighters, they're also amazing coaches. They truly embody their motto, TEAMSTRONG, making everyone who walks through the door a part of that team, and making everyone stronger together.

With participants at all skill levels you’re in an inclusive environment where you’re learning from the coaches and other seasoned participants. Self-discipline is everything - if you’re there to put in the work and learn, the team is there to back you and teach you the skills while keeping it fun and playing GREAT music.
