We were looking for an Energy auditor who was qualified to conduct a pre- and post retrofit audit for a MURB (Multi Unit Residential Building). We called more than 10 registered Energy Advisor companies, none was able to provide one. Therefore, we were very happy to find the qualified Energy Auditor Afshin from Green Canada Home Advisors through the Canada Greener Homes website. Afshin was able to come within days, he explained the audit process in detail, informed us with great knowledge about the different Federal and Ontario Grants and Loans and answered all of our questions patiently. He brought his son along, who was helping and learning, they were a great team, the whole procedure was easy, interesting and stress-free. Our house was inspected room by room, inside and outside, we were made aware of non or low insulated areas in our house and other improvement possibilities. We liked how passionately Afshin was about energy efficiency options and strategies and thank him and his son for their dedication and their attention to detail. We learned from the Toronto Home Energy Loan Program about the important role of the energy auditor and are now looking forward his Pre-Retrofit Report.

We recently had our attic insulation upgraded and all of our windows upgraded to R44. Shima of Green Canada did the initial and final inspections. She was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable and just a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

My auditor Soroush was great! He came to my house to complete an energy audit and did a thorough inspection both inside and outside of my house, and in my attic. Before leaving, he spent about 15 minutes guiding me through all the spots in my house that were drafty and needed to be sealed. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He managed to get me more than I expected in return from the federal government for replacing some of my windows. A great experience overall.

I contacted Green Canada Home Advisors to perform the post retrofit audit for the Greener Homes Program because the first company (Green Saver) decided to not complete the audits started. Soroush came and completed the audit quickly and professionally on November 29th, 2022. I finally found out today that after 3 months and several phone calls, that my file was finally uploaded to the government site but under new application number and new Home Owner ID without any of the support files such as copies of invoices required to complete the audit. I was told to contact the government for further information after trying to give me a canned response for a third time about the status of my file. I now need to wait another 30 to 40 days or longer for a response from the government on trying to consolidate the information and obtaining the grant. Totally frustrated.
