Flexibility is key when chasing Aurora, so booking with Discover Churchill Call List was perfect. They do all the work of figuring out the forecast, and call/text when it's the ideal time to go out. Drew shared his knowledge of this amazing phenomena, and told us over and over how it never gets old. You can feel the enthusiasm and passion when you ride with these guys!

You don’t know what a tour to the subarctic is until you’ve placed your life and lens into the caring hands of Alex, Drew and James. These three are the most wholesome, down to earth, considerate and accommodating gentlemen across the whole of the 59th parallel. From reaching every corner of the accessible tundra for those once in a lifetime bear shots, to keeping us on our toes for 11pm aurora. They put up with and enhanced our camera skills, found local birders for us to nerd out with over fall migration, pulled all the favours they could to get us in the best accommodations and somehow make us feel part of the community for the short time we were there. Thank you for all the laughs, lifers for my 2022 birding big year (5!!) and imparting your kind wisdom so Tammy and I could be better photographers. Truly the trip of a lifetime.

A fantastic tour company to use while in Churchill. We did the northern lights tour and wildlife / sightseeing tour. They were extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating and we had the most incredible experience with them. I would recommend them to anyone travelling to Churchill to check off their bucket list items.

Alex and Drew were fabulous hosts from the time we arrived in Churchill until we were deposited at the airport for our return home. This was truly an all inclusive - we paid our money in advance and were taken care of every step of the way. We had the opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis in all its splendour - our reason for going- and this was even more spectacular than we had imagined. As Alex and Drew are professional photographers, we were happy to let them take all the photos for us - resulting in fabulous pictures. We stayed in a hotel with a full kitchenette. We brought all our own food for the entire trip, which was good, as there were no restaurants open at this time of year. Although our main focus was the viewing of the Aurora, Alex and Drew made sure we had a thorough overview of Churchill culture. We toured to all the sights, as well as searching out and finding ptarmigans, arctic hare and arctic fox. We also loved mushing with Dave's dogs and meeting his family. An altogether unforgettable experience - highly recommend!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about discover churchill ! I’ve done aurora tours with them in the summer (August) and in the winter (March) and I will keep coming back! Both times I signed up to be on the call list to chase the auroras and i was lucky enough to see magical shows both times.What an adventure!Alex and his team really do their research in figuring out when the auroras might be best while you’re there and they were so accurate for us each time. WHAT A SHOW! We appreciated the adventure it was to chase the lights with this crew throughout the night.AND their photography skills are outstanding !! (A plus!)I seriously couldn’t recommend them enough!!!

Did a tour with Alex in 2018, the Northern Lights weren't the most active but still a few out, he got us to some great locations and even with low activity we were able to take some amazing photos! Alex is friendly, engaging, and has a wealth of knowledge on the Churchill area and it's wildlife. You won't be sorry booking with Discover Churchill!!!

I’ve had 3 trips with Discover Churchill- November 2021 for bears etc, February 2022 for aurora, and September 2022 for bear, belugas, other wildlife, and aurora.Drew and Alex are knowledgeable, calm, helpful in innumerable ways, and always good natured. In addition to biology, geography and geology, they know cameras and setups.Thanks to them, I learned night photography.I’m heading back to Churchill in a few days.They deserve the 5 star rating I’m giving them and I can hardly wait to get back on the tundra.

Spent three fantastic aurora chasing nights with Discover Churchill’s aurora on call list and a very interesting Sightseeing and wildlife afternoon tour with Alex, the owner and guide. The tours were a great deal and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, picked up good photography tips and beautiful images and learned a lot about the ecology and history of Churchill. Alex is an outstanding guide with a thorough knowledge of the area and wildlife and he has a terrific sense of humour so he’s always fun to be with. On aurora call nights, he would call when he was certain we would see the lights and he took us to some beautiful locations, including the rocket range. And he took portraits of us with the aurora and created gorgeous Timelapses and generously provided us with his own spectacular photos to share. Don’t think twice about signing up with Discover Churchill. They are the best in class!

I did the Northern Lights call list tour and it was perfect. The lights didn't come out for long the night I went, but Alex had it timed perfectly so we got out there just as it started. He helped with camera setting so everyone could get the best photos possible.
