The pipes brought forth a deep, cellular response that I didn't expect. The Desire for Freedom again burned in my blood and my soul immolated. I get teary just thinking about it while posting. It was a great time. All the events, the music, the scotch and the swords - I was fulfilled for a day.

An excellent celebration of Celtic culture. The Pipe and Drums competitions, as well as traditional Highland games are a great way to take in a weekend in a fun fair environment. A good mix of vendors for food and drink, as well as Celtic moments.

Great venue if you like bagpipes, caber toss, and haggis! There are a lot of kiosks on site as well where you can buy aforementioned foods as well as daggers, kilts, and all other things Scottish and by extension, anything UK related.The opening and closing ceremonies feature ALL the pipe bands from across North America. This year, 1400 pipers and drummers closed the games. Most impressive. Besides the pipe band competition, there are also old school track events, dance competition, as well as musical entertainment.It's a very well set up festival. Totally worthwhile!

A great time with very positive, pleasant people. Everyone is in a good mood. Displays/features are interesting and fun to watch. However, despite the many, many food trucks and stands line-ups at nearly all were terribly long the whole time we were there. Take a chair, take your own snacks, sit on the rise and enjoy the show but avoid the food trucks (which are very expensive).
