Such a lovely theater! I came specifically to see the 4K restoration of Total Recall, and I was genuinely impressed with the venue.Outside might give the impression that it's a small spot, but the theater itself has plenty of seating! The box office is nice and well taken care of, fancy even. Popcorn is great, and there's plenty of other snack offerings too!Long story short, you can bet I bought a membership. I will absolutely be coming back!

I went to see the Rocky horror show and I loved everything. The prices were good and the seating was great but the movie was too loud. The very high pitched beeps were really hard on my ears and my friend has poor vision so we had to sit close to the screen which put us closer to the sound so it was extremely loud.

Loved it. The staff was very friendly and informative about their shows. Great free parking. Delicious coffee from Relay. Great price for tickets. Excellent seating, very clean.

Went to Pink Floyd show on July 8 Ivor Wynne and was thoroughly disappointed. Not one song was recorded in its entirety!!!. Do you know how annoying this is to a fan!!!????This is my band....and I walked out..playhouse Cinema is great not their fault!The popcorn was awesome tho!!

Such a cute independent theater. It's really lovely in the theater and the seats are roomy and comfy. It was reasonably priced and the movie we saw looked great!I also appreciated that they didn't blast us with lights the second the credits started like Cineplex and Landmark do. I like to sit for a few moments and enjoy the credits after a good movie and Playhouse allowed us to do just that.They had a good selection of alcoholic drinks and an assortment of snacks. Everything seemed to be priced quite reasonably. Will definitely be back!

Love Playhouse Cinema. I have been going there since it reopened in 2019. Watching new and especially classic films there is a real treat. The isles are spacious and the seats are comfortable. They have delicious treats from Listowel and now Jam Up the Mash Sours by Collective Arts. In September I watched Star Wars and Goldfinger back to back. It was fantastic getting to watch them on a big screen. Just over a week ago I watched The Shinning and The Rocky Horror Picture Show back to back. So much fun. Their membership is reasonable at $14. It allows you to procure a ticket for $10...most films. The membership also gets you a movie snack combo deal. The theatre is full of charm, great vibes and always offers a fantastic selection of films...new and old.

I love the playhouse! Besides having probably the best popcorn in the game, it is a lovely theatre that plays fantastic movies you just can’t seem to find at the big movie theatres! Highly recommend to any fan of film or anyone just wanting a fun night out!

This theatre is a lovely place with a great concession and amazing staff. It's easy to get to on multiple bus routes and affordable.
