Topaz Skate Park

2022Pretty epic.Favorite feature is the volcano.The bowl is impressively/surprisingly deep & massive.The overall-layout & design seemed a little off though, I didn't love it as much as I thought I would.Thought the round coping was a little too bulbous and sticking out a little too much everywhere. I like it when it's a little more embedded.Really didn't like the evening LIGHTING. Too bright\powerful, and pointed, strangely, to the side, instead of downwards like usual. Making it too bright\harsh on your eyes. In the range of pointing the light...downwards, to 45° diagonal-downwards would be okay, but not sideways. Even worse if you wear glasses. Harsh reflections\glare beaming you in the eyes at all the wrong moments while trying to skate.Parking lot size is insufficient. Water from some of the water sprinklers sprays onto the park surface.

We need more investment in regional development such as these types of parks, we have an abundance of soccer and baseball fields. Time to invest in sports such as scooter, bmx, skate, roller skate and roller blading.

Junk design for the money spent.Greatful it exists. Lights till 10pm.

Great skate park. Couldn't ask for more, all ages and skill levels, with a pump track.
