Have done both a guided fat bike ride through downtown Winnipeg in winter, as well as a kayaking date down at La Berriere Park. Both were fantastic, and were easy to set up. Would highly recommend.

I enjoyed my experience with Type Eh bikes! We rented the fat bikes and it was brought to us at Assiniboine Park. The bikes were all tuned up, and ready to go and we had an absolute blast. Steve was more than helpful even guiding us on attire, paths, and where to stop!Looking forward to doing a the kayak experience next!

Best way to explore the city (and soon enough outside) imo! All my experiences with Type Eh have been great! The experiences are fairly priced and you get to use complete, well-maintained equipments. I look forward to the out of city/ province and year round offerings! Steve is very friendly and personable, accommodating, and was very helpful in my tech challenges. 10/10 will recommend.

Going on a leisurely kayak with friends on a Sunday can typically be a logistical nightmare; figuring out where to rent the equipment, how to transport the kayaks from the rental facility to your launch point & praying you didn’t just pay for equipment that has been used within an inch of its useful life.In this day and age very few people even have the means to transport large equipment like kayaks. Your friend count is sure to diminish if you restrict doing fun outdoor activities with only friends who own big vehicles.My experience with Type Eh was delightful. I didn’t plan our excursion so I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find out all we had to do was show up (something you can do with any size of vehicle).When we got there the kayaks and life jackets were neatly set up waiting for us. We were helped into the kayaks and pushed off for our carefree, effortless adventure down the river. When we returned, our helper was waiting for us to assist with getting out of the kayaks (a difficult task for those of us who are not graceful) & then off we went, no cleanup required!Price was very reasonable for two hours of kayaking and the best part was that Type Eh clearly spent money on purchasing good quality equipment so we didn’t feel like we were floating around in shoddy looking death vessels.I love this idea for a business as it allows some of us adventurous folk who don’t have the means of owning equipment like this to easily enjoy the experience with very little effort. It’s a great way to get outside and try something new either alone or with friends; either option works as all you have to do is show up!And supporting local was the cherry on top of a really great day.

The entire Typeeh kayak experience was so relaxing and convenient. Steve was so great about answering any questions I had beforehand and booking through the Renterii app was so easy (and free!) We literally didn’t have to do anything but show up to La barriere park. Finally got the opportunity to visit with friends in the best environment possible.So many laughs and so much neat wildlife! 10/10 for experience and customer service. Have booked a neat bike tour next!

I rented 5 kayaks from this company and it was not only affordable but extremely easy! It made for an enjoyable day with my kids! Highly recommended!!!!

Going kayaking is so easy when they're brought to the location for you and taken away for you; all we had to do was show up and enjoy! Everything about the Type Eh experience was amazing! Looking forward to renting some winter things once the snow falls!

We had an amazing experience with Type Eh. Bikes this fall. I took my mom and dad out on the river, Steven loaded and unloaded the kayaks, it was a beautiful day... the water didn't move too quickly. We were told there was 2 options to choose from. Steven was personable, friendly and made my parents smile and laugh! The whole process was incredibly smooth and very affordable! A great date idea, or just to try something new and different to get out in nature! Highly recommend :)

We rented some kayaks a few weekends ago from Type Eh Bikes for a beautiful fall kayak along the Seine River and it was so easy and relaxed. They have everything waiting for you, ready to get in and start enjoying yourself. You don't have to deal with transporting the kayaks there, unloading them or loading them back in. You can just enjoy the fun part about kayaking and skip all the logistics of getting to and from that fun and go about your business for the day.We did this as a group activity as a team building event and it's perfect for that, especially the Seine as it's a pretty chill river that goes far, so there's lots of time to chat while on your adventure. I highly recommend booking with them for any rental be it solo or group event!

Great experience. Last weekend a friend planned our kayak rental adventure and I couldn't be more happy with the service we received. Appreciated that we didn't need to haul or pick anything up, we showed up and everything was ready for us to use! Great quality of equipment and service, highly recommend! Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future, especially with what they have to offer for the winter season.
