Cribs on East Lake

A cute cozy cottage villa with tonnes of recreational fair, canoe, kayaks, boards, loungers and swimming area. Each cottage has its own BBQ and very clean and well kept. Cozy, traditional and the owner is awesome!! Definitely worth visiting!

We had a great experience here staying in cottage # 3. Cottage was cozy, clean, comfortable. Deck was large enough for 3 people to sit on the chairs n enjoy the view of the lake. Also the sunset was amazing. Trish, the property manager , was very friendly n helpful. Highly recommended . Will definitely go back again sometime.

Accomations were amazing, clean and tidy. Location was great, just steps away from the water and or a 10 minute drive from the Sandbanks. Plenty of activities available on site and the hosts/owners were extremely nice and friendly. And if you can catch a clear sky at night, you'll get to experience a beautiful sunset over the water. Went with a group of 6, and we are already planning our trip back!

We had booked for 2 nights with another couple. Total of 4 plus my 5 month old daughter. The website was very promising and the way they speak with you and promote the place irs very deceiving. We arrived there and with their previous permission from the day before we were checked in 3 hours earlier at 12 pm. As soon as we arrived there a 9 year old by the name Georgia checked us in, instead of her mother Trish. I was faced with the worst shower and washroom and once i approached the Property manager she mentioned all cottages are like this. We had no cell reception at all so we drove off to Picton and I called Expedia immediately to find another place. Unfortunately as it was a high season everything was booked and since we paid for 2 nights we had to stay. Once our friends arrived we all went back and were forced to stay as Expedia could not get a hold of the property nor the owner. We spent a horrible night there with no ac and the fan was making noise and the other room was not working. The couch was disgusting had old paper towels with popcorn and other garbage which was clearly there for months which they claimed it was clean and deep cleaned. The pressure of the water was horrible to a point we barely washed our dishes and were not able to shower. The girl Georgia was loitering around the place we were staying not considering the social distance to a point she was touching our food and being a bit over talky. Mt friend had to leave and she came back couple of times and finally was asked to leave politely. The bbq was dirty, couch had stains, dishes were dirty and overall horrible experience. After finally speaking with Expedia they said they got a hold of Jenn the owner and after all she denied everything. I had to pick up the phone and call and she called me a liar and that I planted those photo. Then she asked us yo leave as if thats not what we were going yo3do anyway and made it sound like we are liars and we are here to get a free night. I am glad There are other hoteliers and people that have experienced in hospitality and are able to make your experience alot better. Jenn was definitely not one of them I even send her a text the next day to her my frustration and gave her a chance to call me but she did not even bother. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone specifically for the price you pay. We ended up staying at the beautiful Angeline inn wonderful people great hospitality and clean clean clean place where you feel at home. I would never recommend this place to anyone and specifically thecway the owner handled the situation

Cribs is incredible. Trish and Jenn provide you with everything you'll need for your stay. We had such an amazing time. The water is super clean and wonderful to swim in. The cottages are so nice and equipped with everything from pots and pans to a coffee maker and fans for each room. You can of course bring your own stuff but you really don't need to. Just bring your food and you're good to go. There's a mini-golf place, restaurants a short drive away and so is the Sandbanks beach. You really can't beat the location. We're super excited to go back again next year and can't wait.

Cute little cabins, Alex is very attentive to our needs. Comes with paddle boards, canoe, kayak, life vests. Fire pits Beautiful lake and small beach behind the breakfront.

Beautiful cabins - simple and clean with beautiful, happy colours. We made good use of the provided kitchen, barbecue and campfire. Very good location - can get to waupoos, Picton and Wellington in less than 30 minutes and got to sandbank in 10 minutes.Also loved the provided kayaks, canoes and paddle boards as well as lake floatation toys.The sunsets on East lake were absolutely gorgeous with the sun setting into the water. Trish was very accommodating and helpful. We will 100% be back to Cribs on East lake for our next trip to the county! Thank you!

Cribs has been a great experience. Awesome location and vibe. Some of the cribs/cottages need updating But they do the job as is. Proximity to Sandbanks and Prince Edward County wineries is a huge bonus. Definitely worth the try especially as a group traveling together. Everyone can be in the same place but have their own privacy in a crib of their choice.

Very enjoyable stay. Rooms were clean and kitchen well equipped. Water toys in great shape. Nice distance to bike to sandbanks and get in without an unobtainable vehicle permit.

For the price, you can't go wrong. But dont expect a five star hotel. A special thanks to Alex for the great service. Expect a lot of earwigs even inside. Some windows are craqued and have holes in them. The doors dont seal. The ''beach'' is not swimable and its made of pebles. Nice fire pits with free wood! Loved the overhaul experience.
