Chungchun Rice Dog Maples
This was a place that stood out to us when we were done shopping at the bookstore nearby. We love corndogs as well as Korean food so trying this place was an absolute no brainer. Service was super friendly & prices are very reasonable. They have quite a selection of options to suit those who eat meat as well as those who do not. They even had a couple seasonal options which was great because I chose one of those which was the nacho dog. My wife chose the cheese dog with parmesan sauce topping. We were both very impressed with the freshness and flavor of our Kogo dogs and we both agreed we'd be back again when visiting Canada!

The place is well maintained, but pick up only. It's good to come once a year to kill your craving for the Asian fast food. Wouldn't suggest eating it more often.

Love this place! Staff are lovely. If you go at noon on a weekday, be aware that there are lots of students from a nearby school who go for lunch—get there 5-10 minutes before the noon opening to get ahead of them in line, but know everything is made to order so it takes some time! Fun to have many vegetarian options on the rice dog menu as well!

Updating my review now that I've been here a handful of times. Food is so good! The Volcano" with spicy mayo and sweet chili sauce is my go-to. It's perfect. I love the textures and flavors.Honorable mentions to the ramen chip and any of the cheese or plain options. The only ones I haven't enjoyed so far and won't get again is the chicken and potato toppings. I found them flavorless and overly crunchy... which seemed to overpower everything else.The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. It's always been a pleasant experience and one of my favourite places for a quick lunch."

To be totally honest, I think the cost of a hot dog is pricier than it should be. However, the food was so good that I couldn’t even complain! The custom seasonings and dressing that you can add makes it fun, and the general vibe of the restaurant is so cool. There’s posters along the walls of different seasoning mixtures, fun music playing, and Asia City right beside it!

Awesome food!!!! Tried it for the first time today, filling! Ate the potatoe and veggie hotdogs, very good. I think they even spoke to us in their native language. Uplifting music. Many different sauces and seasonings to choose from. They also offer sweets with half waffles. Definitely going back to try more!

Ordered: Volcano Dog with sweet potatoesUnfortunately I am intolerant to cheese and I asked the cashier for the best hot dogs without cheese, they recommended the Volcano Dog, but the VOLCANO hot dog had cheese inside. This was only found out after the purchase was made. It was addressed with an apology in passing but nothing further.I recommend you get sauce with the hot dog because the flavours do blend together without any individuality, tastes like a hot dog with bread but with a higher price tag.However the service was fast and the location was clean.
