It is an absolute pleasure to write this review for Assurance Home Care. When my father developed pneumonia, we aimed to avoid the Emergency Room, hospitals and clinics at all costs to minimize his exposure to other germs, bugs and risks. Stephen, Dominique and the Assurance team were truly outstanding, enabling us to achieve this goal. They provided excellent home visits, monitoring and care that allowed us to evaluate his condition consistently every few days (by the same team members), over 12 weeks. The team was wonderful to work with, caring and consistently accessible, supporting our family through a very difficult period. Thank you all for helping my father recover and keeping his spirits up. You will have my business for life.

A huge thank you to Assurance Home Care! With our 'challenged' health care system, my daughter was released within 12 hours of major hip surgery ( pre covid-19 she would have been in hospital for 4 days). This shifted all the responsibility to myself (and my husband). Having Assurance Home Care's nurse - Shelley - with regular check ins by Kris as well- provided us with the resources that weren't provided in the short term by the hospital. All to say - they went above and beyond to support us when we needed it. We can't thank them enough.

I am a former Personal Support Worker for Assurance and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and owners. They helped me form new friendships with the clients and with them. They went above and beyond to accommodate and issues I may have had and we very professional and caring. I recommend Assurance for anyone needing home care, a companion or someone to take them to appointments or shopping.

The staff at Assurance Homecare are exceptional. They are efficient, compassionate and deal promptly with every aspect of the care they provide to my elderly father. These people took excellent care of my Mom for several months before we moved her into a community. The caregivers were very well matched, and the administrative staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this provider 100%!

The people at Assurance Home Care are by far the best in this city. Long ago I went to college to become a PSW. I have worked for similar companies like this in Ottawa and was horrified by how little the companies cared about their staff or clients.Assurance on the other hand puts the client FIRST. Kristine McGinn the director of operations is by far the most professional and compassionate person with an empathetic heart I have ever met. I called around to many competitors and was blown away how 'little' the others cared or really were listening to me.From the very first moment I spoke with Kristine on the phone I knew we were a match and I felt safe with Assurance.I have a plethora of debilitating health issues & deal with moderate to severe chronic pain every day. I also have anxiety that is severe. Kristine was able to find me a psw that was the perfect fit for me. I never thought at 43 I would need a psw, but I'm so happy that I made that call. Kristine actually came to my home with my psw Beth-Anne to meet the very first day. I could instantly tell Beth-Anne loves what she does, helping to take care of others without judgement & with the most sincere, gentle, compassionate heart. I think the most important thing is nothing felt forced, meaning my psw and I actually get along, we connect, and I feel safe. I literally felt like I had my friend come over to help me out when in reality it was hired health care help. There is no bigger complement to the company than this I think. For the visits to feel natural, normal, like every day life is so critical and important.When my physical symptoms act up, Beth-Anne is all too happy to help me with the chores I can't do. When I am an emotional mess, Beth-Anne just instinctively knows how to handle the situation and what to say.I am blown away by the level of authentic care & compassion from everyone at Assurance Home Care. I had post hip surgery 24 hour care. The efficiency, kindness, and devotion of the Care worker went beyond all my expectations. Her cheerful presence, attention to detail helped accelerate my healing process and keep post surgery blues away. Most of all I felt safe.
