Never busy when I go fast service

The deposit machine ATMs here are okay but I wish they counted faster when depositing stacks of $1,000 and $2,000 in $20 and $50 denominations.I deposit cheques and cash here at the tellers with no problems.However, when it comes to getting your family's $400k-2M routing of funds overseas, there seems to be some sort of problem even when you have the authority to do so. There is no convenient system to get these funds transferred unless you are the exact person of the account holder, take notice of this and sign up as a 'joint' account next time. The amount of headaches, back and forth calls and hassle involved with closing high business transactions is just not worth your time. With modern tech infrastructure and such high profitability of finance sector (post IMF cartel/mass loan deregulation/speculation/fake deposit insurance era), you would think they would re-invest these profits into bettering their services and conveniences, like The First Credit Union or other financial institutions who employ tech/blockchain ledgers/etc to improve their services.The next time this is happening, I will consider just moving my service accounts elsewhere. The customer care person at this place also has the habit of phoning you lies about certain things like 'you can send a secure email/message online' to do some higher-powered authorizations like unlocking your account from an auto-lock trigger by fraudulent transactions.Anyhow, enough rambling, for anything more complicated than your everyday banking services, don't count on this branch or any other CIBC to do your business; if you're an ordinary citizen who just deposits and withdraws and pays bills, they are okay.

This branch is in a convenient location. Whether you are going to use the drive through ATM or go inside the bank perfectly located. It's usually a fairly busy CIBC but it's not to often you have to wait that long to get your cash or do your banking.

I needed to have a form signed, but I didn’t have a physical copy. First, the lady literally sniggered at me for asking if they could print the form for me. Later, when I came back with a physical copy they found every excuse they could not to sign it, although it was just a simple confirmation of my account balance. I took it to another branch and they did it for me without a hassle. Very unhelpful.

Extremely racist workers, they look down on you if you are not white - (all the workers are white ladies and family). Tried to file a complaint multiple times with their manager and when escalated she kept saying i will file a complaint dont worry" and i kept asking for email confirmation but never received it.The manager absolutely has 0 care towards their employee's treating people like this and refuses to do anything about it (EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE MULTIPLE REVIEWS SAYING THE SAME THING)Extremely racist and rude especially the manager and manager is just as bad refuses to do anything about it even if you call them with a complaintHad to call head office in order to file a complaint and was than received with an email confirmationDO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE EXTREMELY RACIST AND RUDE!"

I have banked with CIBC for over 15 years and I've hated the whole Digital system that they are going to. Plus most of the Branches are Monday-Friday 9:30-5:00. Most people work Monday-Friday 9-5 jobs. I'm in that case I work Monday-Friday 7-5. Plus the customer service over the phone and in the bank is really bad. I have switched banks and very happy with the switch

I have never been so appalled in my entire life. I visited this branch earlier today to deposit an inheritance cheque from my deceased grandmother. Only to be humiliated and spoken down to by the teller and manager of the branch infront of several other customers. They made a huge deal about calling another branch to certify the cheque. The amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism is absolutely astonishing. Needless to say I will be banking some where else.

Always a long line up. Only one teller working. I understand we have social distancing but seriously. Two hour wait to do banking? All I wanted to do was deposit my month end cash for the business. Stood waiting while my customers at the store only had limited help because I was held up standing in a line. Not a good place to do any banking. The Scotiabank in the mall has four tellers working with little to no line up. CIBC just doesn’t care about its customers anymore.

I had a very positive experience at this branch, meeting with Mehdi Arefi and Scott Swanson to discuss investments. Scott, who is an investment specialist, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't detect any ulterior motives in him other than wanting the best for me. He laid out all options and candidly discussed positives and negatives. I recommend both Mehdi and Scott, as well as this branch in general, for great customer service in banking.
