Surestay Hotel by Best Western Castlegar

We spent the night passing through the area. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was dining near by.

Older property with creaky floors but nicely updated rooms. Dark colors feel less safe. Mostly clean and comfortable. Very good value for the price.

From the time I arrived until the time I left, I was always greeted with a smile upon entering the lobby and the front end staff, especially the supervisor, Saudia, were so friendly and welcoming and explained things thoroughly when I had questions. Their breakfast is quiet big with a variety of items to choose from! My room was clean and I even had a little stove top in case I wanted to cook! Will definitely be back!!

Welcoming and friendly staff.Clean room. Traveling with our dog so it was great to have a room with direct access to outdoors and our vehicle.

The worst hotel one could pick. I booked directly with the hotel and paid during checkin. AC went down couple times after 12am and had to manually reset the power button. Thought it would be timer controlled, but it was not. Tried to reach the front desk and unfortunately nowhere in the room or on the phone I could find the number to connect. I then googled and called them. The night shift person came up and checked. He then told me it could be the problem with the AC and asked if I want to change the room at 3am. I said no as I did not want to move my luggage. As I was disturbed multiple times by this issue, I did not actually sleep that night. Next morning I talked to the front desk lady with frustration and she was least bothered and told me that manager can be informed to give me a call. As I did not sleep there, they should show some courtesy to refund my money. If not, they owe an apology atleast. I got no calls and i would never recommend this hotel to anyone and anyone who sees this review---please do not go to this hotel as you will not be served for what you pay.

Neat Hotel in Castlegar with all you will need for a comfortable stay, and it's right by a gas station, grocery store and any other essentials one would need.

Came here for a hockey tournament and wasn’t disappointed! Staff was helpful and helped me when I had questions. Room was clean and housekeeping was amazing although it is a little pricy it’s worth it for a clean and well managed room and hotel
