Long Lane Pet Resort

Long Lane is a very clean and safe environments for our pups. They go a long way to assist with your boarding issues. I recommend Michelle and staff highly.

We have had 4 different chocolate labs boarded here for the last handful of years and they are hands down the best dog camp ever! Our boys absolutely love it and they are so incredibly well cared for. It's so refreshing to feel completely at peace leaving your fur babies with people you trust and not having an ounce of worry or concern. Thank you Long Lane!!

Went on a walk- through of this facility to see if my anxious, totally deaf dog would be a good fit. Super friendly staff who gave us a complete tour of the kennels, exercise areas and general set-up of the kennel. Dogs never co-mingle but can see/ sniff through the enclosures. Totally accepting of taking on a deaf dog ( which is not the response I have gotten from some other places). Lovely setting on a functioning farm. Opal is set up for a 2 day stay next month!

Winston Wigglesworth, my 3 yr old Labradoodle loves this resort and the handlers. Next to home, it's his favourite place for an overnight stay.

Dog Grooming by MichaelaWe had our 2 King Charles Cavaliers (Brahms and Bellini) groomed by Michaela on Tuesday and she has done a fantastic job! Michaela was very helpful on the phone detailing her care and attention. When I met Michaela for the appointment she friendly and reassuring; advising the first visit may take a bit longer then usual as she slowly became accustomed to the dogs. Michaela met with me during pickup and let me know how everything went. The dogs looked awesome!This was our first visit and we will be regular customers from now on. After trying other groomers in the area with varying degrees of satisfaction (two resulting in visits to the Vet) it looks like we have finally found the Groomer we have been looking for! We've been sending our Standard Poodle Morty to Long Lane for the last 6 months and he absolutely loves it there. He loves all the girls who care for him and even gives them a run for their money. As soon as we pull up he starts whining. Each pup has their own room with access to their own outdoor area. On warmer days they keep the doors open so the pups can come and to as they like. It's lovely that they offer walks and that they have a Groomer on site if you wish to have your pet refreshed before coming home. Morty also comes home exhausted which is also lovely. So happy that we've found a home away from home for Morty.

We have boarded our Great Dane here twice, once for two weeks and then for a week. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Hard to ask the dog how her stay was, but she seemed happy! I would highly recommend them.

I have kept my dog Bhaloo for overnight stay and find the service and facilities are excellent. They really care for your pet and Bhaloo always walks out happy. Great place. Keep up the great work.

I dropped off my two cats for a weekend from July 9-11. Having spoken to them on the phone beforehand, I felt reassured that the cats would be in good hands.I was wrong.I pre-portioned their food into separate Ziplog bags to make it easy for them to be fed. But when I picked them up, I saw that 3 of the 7 bags still had food in them, meaning they were only fed about half the amount for the whole weekend and so they were really hungry when I saw them.Plus, my female cat is a food bully and steals from her brother. I was told they'd put a wall down for feeding time and lift it when they were done. However, when I picked them up, I saw the wall was up and there was still food in the bowl, so I have to wonder how much the female cat ate and how much my male cat DIDN'T and how hungry he must have been.My male cat is completely blind and his sister wears a collar with bells on it so he can identify where she is. I found her collar on a counter when I arrived, so I have no idea how long she wasn't wearing it and how long he wasn't able to identify where in the room she was.Because my male cat is blind, he has no tear ducts to lubricate his nose and his nose gets stuffed up. With the humidifier on, his nose is pretty clear and there are no problems. But when we got home, his nose was stuffed up and he was sniffling. How long without the humidifier did he go?Lastly, the litterbox was full and the floor was dirty, and I wonder how long my cats spent in a room like that. The room is small, and I feel terribly for them that they spent any time in that room when it was so dirty.I no longer have any trust in Long Lane and will neither take them there again nor recommend them to anyone. How could I when my cats were only fed half the amount and went hungry for who knows how long?
