Coach Hill Off-leash Dog Park
Nice big open area for the dogs, and a welcoming place for those on a walk, with or without a canine friend. A couple groves of trees to wander through (well at least one, the other is very small) adds a touch of variety. An old but decent playground is here and safely separated from dogs with a fence. People generally do well at picking up thier pet's poop here and that's appreciated. Pet owners frequently meet and chat with neighbors so it is an informal social hub too. If your dog is a little skittish around other dogs, you may be OK towards the north end. People and dogs are usually closer to the trees at the SE.

Convenient location but at peak hours there are a lot of poorly behaved dogs with questionable socialization skills and dog owners that don't really seem to notice or care. It is a good spot to play fetch but only if there are a few other dogs. Otherwise it's a good spot for your dog to pick up bad habits. Just go to Edworthy!

Nice little park. Small treed area. As mentioned, no fence but dogs don't seem to go over to the section with a busy road.

Coach Hill Off-leash Dog Park
Zero fencing around the park, even onto busy Old Banff Coach road. The dogs always look like they're having a ball and there's two garbage bins on either side of the park. My dog is to much of an idiot to play there, but she likes the smells on the sidelines.

Small but clean off leash area. Usually friendly people and pups are here. Next to a busy road and not fenced, so not recommended if your pup does not recall well. No public restrooms, but fenced in playground if you need to run your dog and entertain littles

I was worried to take my dog here at first as it's close to a major road and has no fence, but it's large enough and offers enough opportunity for sniffs so my dog is not interested in the surrounding roads at all. Also frequented by some lovely people with their good boys and girls :)

No fence and surrounded by roads. If your pup is a curious one or not 100% on recall, best to not chance it.

Coach Hill Off-leash Dog Park
Good location but the park isn't too large. It is also surrounded by roads for the most part so if your dog is a little on the creative side you may want to use a leash. It can also get pretty busy in the afternoon.
