Perfect definition of support local. Local cambridge FB page recommended them, I liked these guys cause they are technicians too, they confirmed diagnosis of my dying fridge and I started searching the market for a new one. Price they quote for a LG 33 was spot on

Purchased a new fridge and stove. Had to return our old one to a different store and City Appliances for a small fee took our old one back to where we purchased it so that we didn't have to rent a truck. Staff both in the store and the guys who delivered and set up our new ones were absolutely phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this store

In less than 24 hours of placing the call, Brad from City Appliances arrived, assessed what was needed, gave me options and then fixed my dryer. I was very impressed! Reasonable rates too. I do not hesitate to recommend them! I love that they are a local business too!

This was my first time purchasing major appliances. Tena made the process less stressful when purchasing a Fridge, Stove and OTR Microwave. They were able to have it delivered a week after I made my final decision. Was able to purchase what I wanted and needed within my budget.

A year ago bought front load Electrolux washer dryer combo from this store, plus a queen mattress. Prices on all of the above were very competitive. I had seen the washer and dryer on sale at Lowe’s for a price cheaper than was listed on the display at City Appliance. City Appliance matched it, delivered and installed the machines with no fuss. I’ve waited a year to make this review, since with appliances, you can’t truthfully review your experience until you’ve had them a while. I’ll shop here again, and I recommend this place to my friends.

It's important to me to support local and family run businesses in our city. City Appliances has been around for as long as I can remember and continues to be an excellent and dependable business. When I've called, I've recieved great customer service with my questions answered quickly and correctly. Had to have service performed on my oven, unfortunately, and the tech was easy to talk to, explained the problem in terms I could actually understand, and even helped me save some money by being direct about a solution. I will continue to recommend them.

I was referred to city appliance by a long time customer of theirs. I placed a service call to have my dryer vent repaired/replaced. Waited a week for the tech appointment which was fine. Tech arrived and didn't have any parts to do the job, also argued that he didn't need to do it and I could duct tape the vent to repair it (FYI duct tape is not designed to withstand that level of heat). Tech said he would come back the following week to replace the duct. Never heard back from the tech. Called the office on the Friday to see when I was rescheduled for. Gave my info and was told I would be called right back. Going on 2 weeks now and still haven't heard from anyone. Going on 3 weeks without a dryer was not happening so I called a competitor company who came out and did the job that same day. I won't be referring this company or try to use their services again. I do recommend their local competitor!

Awesome experience with a local company very impressed!

I happened to be driving by and needed appliances so I popped in (ideally used for rental property in Kitchener). When I was there they happened to have a used white fridge and used stove. The price was decent and I bought them on the spot. I arranged delivery to be in the next month. We had the fridge and stove delivered on Tuesday this week and it was such a great experience. The delivery people were incredibly considerate and thoughtful. They removed the screen door, without hesitation and did an amazing job putting it back on. Even when they propped the door again a wall, the put cloth behind it to ensure it didn't damage the fresh paint. They spent the time to properly level the stove. We were so impressed with the level of service and care they took. We are really happy with our experience.
