Most knowledgeable tobacconists in the city. The owner travels the world and has the expertise about tobacco. Most staff have been there multiple years and are super pleasant to deal with. Solid selection of pipe tobacco and cigars.

Hands down, this is the best smoke shop in western Canada. Haven't been to any out east, so can't comment on that. Anyways, the selection of pipes, cigars, and tobacco is bonkers. No other tobacconist that I've been to even comes close to the amount and variety these guys got. Great service from friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Even if you're new to this, they don't mind taking the time to explain. Fair play lads. Whyte ave traffic and parking is banjaxed, but it's worth suffering to go here.

Burlington On Whyte is well known for their exquisite pipes and large variety of imported and specialty tobaccos. Their collective knowledge is impressive.I'm a cigar smoker, they also have an impressive variety of top cigars from around the world in their walk-in humidor. They always take extra care to select perfectly cured, smokable Cubans for me - I've never had a bad one.Whatever you are looking for, you can count on the guys (and gal) at Burlington to help you find the right smoke too.

This is our go to cigar shop. We've tried others but none compare to the knowledge and customer service this store offers. The staff are all super friendly and very patient with us as we are just learning about cigars.

Great selection. Excellent staff, the staff at Burlington on Whyte are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a beginner I went in for a starter pipe kit, the staff informed me on my options and answered every question I had (trust me I had lots). I have been shopping at Burlington on Whyte for many years since then and have never been disappointed with their services or products.

Where i go for all my tobacco needs. I live pretty far away and still make the trip. When i first got into pipe smoking, they set me up, taught me the process and helped me set up my first smoke. Very knowledgeable, their prices are slightly higher than other tobacconists, but their selection is rivaled by none. Burlington is my go to place for tobacco in Edmonton. As a very occasional cigar and pipe smoker, it's great to have a place that makes their own blends and carries such a wide variety of cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco, and all the accessories you'd ever need!

These guys know their stuff! Stopped in to buy some cigars to celebrate the birth of my child. They were super helpful and spent the time to help me find something to commemorate the occasion. This place is an Edmonton institution! Go here!

Entering the shop you feel like you're stepping back in time 100 years or into a good novel. It was a delight and pleasure talking with Anna who greeted me with a warm smile and answered all questions.Picked up a Brigham pipe in their under $100 section as well as some 1-Q-esque Executive blend and the equally impressive Dark Cross which has the aroma of cherry and licorice fused with quality tobacco. Piping has some relaxing aspects for sure, even for an occasional smoker. All things in moderation right?Support your local tobacconist. Even for those who don't smoke it's worth a visit to the shop for the experience and picking up some tantalizing tobacco to take home and smell.

I purchased my first pipe today and went to a few specialty stores and ended up coming here on my last stop, which in reality should have been my first stop !! But you don't know until you know ... but if you want to save yourself some time, just come here to Burlingtons, the gentlemen were awesome, the prices and selection are second to none, including the internet. I spent 4 days researching and shopping online and 1 day going to brick and mortar shops. They answered all my questions, they were super friendly and helpful.
