What an amazing area to see, with so much history in the capital of Canada. Historic architecture and landscapes with beautiful views of the city and river. So cool to see the parliament buildings up close and personal. Nice path that circles around the buildings on the river's edge with great views of the city,monuments and stairways down to the water. Truly a glorious site to see... and definitely worth checking out with downtown right there, markets and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Go Canada!

I came here for the Northern Lights show. It was great to see Canadian history come to life through this sound and light show. It's really well done. they do make updates to the show each year so be sure to check it out every year.Bring something to sit on as the grass gets wet.

Must place to visit for all tourists., Know the history of Canada., My suggestion on busy weekends & holidays take the free tour but make sure you are in line for tickets by 8am., After counter opens you can proceed for tickets, Screening & Security and have a fabulous visit of Parliament.All will be smooth if we go on time.Historical, Fabulous, Architectural Parliament. Each and every Sculptures are carved with best workmanship.

The tours for parliament are all free but you do need to line up for a while to get tickets. Line up across the street early in the morning at like 7 in the summer!! The tours though are honestly really cool and worth the wait! Peace tower offers the best views and is a great way to commemorate Canadians who have given so much,

The tour was fantastic. Unbelievable architecture, and a unique view of Ottawa and surrounding area from the top of the peace tower. Highly recommended tour full of interesting facts about Canada. A long wait time in the morning to secure tickets was the only part of the experience that was less than ideal. The ticket office opens at 9 am and there was a line up around the block by 8:30 am that morning (and most other mornings), so get there early folks!
