Nice little museum. It’s a bit run down. Not sure how much longer the old equipment is going to last exposed to the elements but probably nothing to be done about it. Would have been interested to have more information about the installations. The info boards are all worn away and need to be replaced.

Very well set up and displayed! Lots of care has been put into setting up the whole area. We had a very nice afternoon walk around looking at all the display houses. The old farm machinery and buggys are always ready cool to see. Definitely a step back in time! Thanks to all those who take care of the place!

It's an interesting place. Being able to see some of the buildings (including inside them) was lovely. There are interpretive signs, although they are fairly terse and one or two were faded and illegible. Disappointingly, the main house was locked with a taped sign that said it was closed for filming". Peering into the windows wasn't quite as satisfying. But overall

Interesting small site about the early European settlers in the Okanagan region. The site can be explored in 30-60 minutes, depending on your interest in the documentation. It is well maintained. The admission fee is a donation towards this goal. A good visit if you want to learn more about the early days of modern" Canada!"

Although the buildings are currently closed in the pandemic, there is still a lot to see on this the original site of the buildings and the mission. There are many beautifully restored wooden buildings to view. The first buildings went up in the 1860s. It was decommissioned in 1906 with some artifacts going to the east of Canada and some to the new St Louis mission property in Kamloops.A walk around gives you sense of life back then and there are some interesting carts, buggies and agricultural equipment to see.You can see an early cabin on the site and I’d you get interested In the history head down to Kelowna’s Okanagan Heritage museum where there is another 1860s cabin reconstructed with some fittings inside to give you a sense of how it might have been to live in a cabin.
