Inn on the Harbour
A smaller unassuming Hotel over looking the harbour. Rooms were simple, but comfortable, clean and well taken care of. $100 more a night for a harbor view seemed steep, so we took a room on the city side. Breakfast/lounge area has a great view with a balcony. Breakfast had great selection and a friendly server.

Lovely little inn, rooms are nice but not new by any means. Tubs are a bit old and grey. Lots more charming if you can get a harbour view! breakfast was Continental but not help yourself which I found a little werid to ask someone for a little yogurt or toast. Would return next time though!

Nice room. It's not the best location. But we were able to look down on our vehicle, so we felt it was secure.

A great experience from check-in to check-out. Nice view of the harbor, ships and boats. Breakfast in the morning was great. Walkable to many restaurants and stores. Great check-in process after arriving at 1AM on BC Ferry. Would stay here again.

We stayed in a city-view room. Reno’s were poorly done and didn’t include the bathroom. Furniture was quality and the beds were comfy. The front desk clerk wasn’t very helpful. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain. She delivered one but made us hang it ourselves. As for the location, sadly most of Prince Rupert is looking very rundown and unkept. I’ve actually stayed at the Inn 4 times in the last 10 years and I think I’ll opt for something different next time.

My experience was pretty similar to what David posted before me 1 week ago. We stayed for 2 nights with our dog. Renovations were notable, but overall the experience was disappointing for what we paid. The lady managing the continental breakfast was very lovely compared to the front desk staff. It was a pretty basic offering and would have been nice to be able to serve yourself. Views of course were nice, but as David mentioned there was nowhere to take your dog to use the washroom apart from the vacant lot next door which was littered with garbage, broken glass and drug paraphernalia. Which I understand it’s not their property, but it definitely put a downer on the atmosphere coming in and out of the hotel. I think next time we will try somewhere else.

Very adequate. Pet rooms and usually more affordable than other nearby rooms. Close to the mall and Timmy's also.

Nice clean rooms, a little noisy of your room is facing the parking lot. Good enough for business trips,. Breakfast selection is limited, but it is included in price so no complaints

Inn on the Harbour
This place disappointed me especially since it's not cheap, 200 for one night with my dog. They spent a lot of money on finishing this place, the room was immaculate, painted nice, everything looked new. The room was very small, smallest room I have ever stayed in. Barely enough room to walk around, little room for my baggage. There was a small table for the coffee maker but that's it, no table to sit at so when I ordered food I was left to sit and eat in the bed. The bathroom was very nice with great fixtures but again, very small, very little counter space. When the door opens it almost hits the toilet, when you step out of the shower you only have a little space to dry off and since the only mirror is in the bathroom you have to wait for the steam to dry off the mirror before using it. I had planned on staying for three nights but was so disappointed I stayed only one night as I arrived a bit late. They were a pet friendly place but that doesn't include providing a space for you pet to go potty. I had no choice but to use the empty lot besides the hotel which is what they promoted but that was a dangerous lot, broken glass and garbage laying around it. There were also homeless or street people hanging around and I witnessed some drug use in the area. I was forced to use a bit of small grass beside the sidewalk for my pet to go potty as there was no way I was walking through the vacant lot.Not a great experience for me.
