I have been training for nearly 2 years. Julie continually creates new programs. The studio is clean and spacious. Zoom classes during the outbreak have been challenging and rewarding. Highly recommend Ray Pilates.

I have been studying Pilates with Julie for over 14 years. When I started working with her I could hardly bend my knees and had disc problems in L4 and L5. Basically I could do very little and wondered how I would make it through a class. Julie modified all the exercises for me and I slowly started to move freely, learning to use other muscles, without pain and discomfort. Today I'm able to do a class with hardly any modifications. I'm 70 years old and feel better physically than I felt in my 30s. The classes are personal and taught with humour and sensitivity. I look forward to class every week.

I have been doing Pilates at Ray Pilates for almost a year now, and I love it! Having never done Pilates before, I was concerned that I would not be able to do it properly. However, all of the instructors at the studio are extremely knowledgeable and ensure that you do every exercise correctly. All the instructors really take the time to cater sessions to your ability, changing it every time! My body has become so much stronger since I have started! Everyone who I have recommended the studio to loves it! It really is one of the best Pilates studios in the city.

Julie has been instructing me weekly for at least 10 years. We were able to do Zoom mat sessions during the outbreak and we're now back in the studio taking all the precautions that are necessary to have safe and effective work outs. Julie is an excellent, patient, extremely knowledgeable instructor with a great personality and sense of humour. She's helped me through injuries and tailors our sessions to meet my needs. Wish I could give Julie more than 5 stars. Exceptional!!

I have been doing pilates with Julie Michael's for close to 10 years now. Her expertise and professionalism is second to none. Her studio is a wonderful, calm, spotless oasis to work out in. Her virtual mat classes are surprisingly challenging, effective and affordable. And above all, Julie is the nicest, most positive person you could ever work with which has been a major contributing factor to the fact that I'm still doing pilates after all these years.

I can't say enough great things about Julie! I do in-person and online classes with her and as a former professional dancer with a few ongoing injuries, I've been so impressed with Julie's ability to work with me to identify what my body needs most and keep the lessons creative and challenging. I always feel wonderful afterwards ;-)

I started going to Ray Pilates almost three years ago after I had lost a significant amount of weight. I was super excited about the weight loss but definitely needed to tone up and build strength. Julie not only helped me to become stronger, but also helped me find a balance in my workout regime at home and at the gym. I look forward to my weekly personal pilates sessions as Julie provides a workout that is not only challenging but therapeutic at the same time - both physically and mentally. Julie has built an amazing rapport with her clients and modifies her techniques to find a suitable program for everyone. When I first started with Julie, I was insecure about going to the gym or working out with other people but she has helped bring out my confidence and feel better about my body.
