First General Services

The First General Team were amazing! They responded quickly to the issue. Completed all the work in a profession, efficient, and friendly manner. Very impressed with the whole gang!

Currently on day 2 of a sewer back up issue, and the fellas from First General have been wonderful, polite, professional and helpful. Nick was here for 2 hours with my girlfriend before I got home (and 6 hours total), and she said she felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Well done guys!

Some loser in a First General Property Restoration vehicle..Licence plate BSSX 955. Needs to learn how to drive around motorcycles. Watch out for him brothers! big time loser. I would not to business with this company ever because of this guy.

Marco and his team did an amazing job of completing my nightmare of water damage from my roof last winter. His team was professional, polite and made every effort to ensure we were happy. Marco worked so hard on our behalf to get our roof replaced, and the interior of our home back to normal. Thank you again!

My basement flooded in April as many did and First General was the contractor my insurance company provided. They were there the day after the flood and pulled everything out. Some delay and I ended up pulling some flooring myself. The rest of the process took 7+ months with very poor communication. At times I felt I was doing their job, calling constantly to check to see what I needed to do or coordinate things like flooring in stallion. I called twice after not hearing for a month both times and told they were waiting for me to pay my deductible or pick out my floor (both of which I was never advised about and this likely delayed everything a lot more). Multiple items I had asked about were never followed up on and some things got completely forgotten about. Eventually I did get a subcontractor in and he was fantastic, but this wasn’t until late November. Everyone that did come into my home was professional and knowledgeable. I am very understanding that a lot of people flooded when I did but a little communication and better organization would have gone a long way. I’m not sure if it was general administration or my project manager that was the issue. I would not use or suggest First General again for this reason, but if I did I would be pushing for things to be done in a more timely manner.
