The 42km unpaved road in was smooth, the contactless pickup went off without a hitch and the people who were around gave us some good pointers on tackling Cedar Lake which can get quite a bit of wind some days. Always worth the ride.

Rented two Featherlight 16' canoes. Both were in great condition. Handled well in the choppy open water and wind in Cedar Lake, and were quite manageable to portage. Pick up and drop off was straightforward. I wish that AO at Brent had a pick up and drop service to help make different routes and treks more accessible.

Does not offer food packages for solo trips into Algonquin. I was told on the phone the owner is 85 and does not want contact with the public. No help with trying to plan a trip, very discouraging and disappointing. Clearly Algonquin Outfitters does not want my money.

Great experience renting with Algonquin Outfitters - Brent. All gear was well organized and ready to go so we could start early. Jake was very helpful and informative when we had any questions. Wish we could see inside the old Outfitters office/store but it has closed to the public since COVID.

Friendly staff, easy no contact booking and pick-up of canoes. Beautiful location. We had a wonderful canoe camping trip on Cedar lake, Algonquin Park.

I was at Brent for 2 days in Sept 10th & 11th and that's an amazing experience. Truly enjoyed and the Kayak I reserved was ready at the Park store when arrived with my name. Amazing service and I will truly recommend to anyone to visit to Brent with the help of Algonquin outfitters.

First time through Cedar Lake with the help of Algonquin Outfitters' Kipawa canoe! They managed to help us out even though it was last minute and the canoe was waiting for us first thing the next morning. Great as always, and looking forward to next season!

Always super easy renting here. It’s right on Cedar lake which is a great start point for trips to other lakes. The owner is always around, if the store seems closed you can usually find him on the grounds or around back. Fully recommend!
