Elevate Cannabis Store - 118 Avenue

Traveling from out of town I stumbled upon this shop while exploring downtown edmonton. I would highly not recommend this place. I bought a single pre roll in a package and a 3x pack of pre rolls. When I returned to my hotel I opened the single there was no pre roll! So I thought simple mistake I'll call and get a refund as I am a long way from downtow and home. When I called they said they check security cameras and they have security in place to not get ripped off which I understand if it is a large quanitity or repeat offender, so they said they shook it and if I wanted to come down they would show me on camera, I asked were they holding the other pack of joint when they shook as there was clearly no joint in the package of 1. Now, this was a 6.99 pre roll that was missing I was not trying to get a freebie I just wanted what I paid for and they refused even though it was at their fault. Would highly recommend going somewhere else as they are just in it for the money not the customer. Worst cannabis experience I had at a Cannabis retail store.

A very nice store with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I found the location easy to drop by while commuting on the Yellowhead. Parking is a bit tight, I recommend going to the side of the building and walking. They had lots in stock. Definitely will be stopping in again next time I'm on that side of the city.

Called about 15 shops, and was treated like some kind of a freak for having a specific need a specific request called Josh the owner of this establishment and was told ….”by all means come in.We will find a way to help you and find a way to give you what you need”. This young man is outstanding in his field in customer care and knowledge definitely an asset, especially to beginners in the cannabis, industry, or simply as cannabis users. Can’t say enough about this young man make this stop your first one. You’re guaranteed a good experience.

Loved this place up until recently. I had dropped my mask in a puddle on the way in and it was unuseable. I went in to the store hoping they could help me out and possibly provide one so I could continue my business with them as normal.I was not only not greeted coming in (th only customer in the store), but was told I wont be served without a mask. I agreed and exlained my temporary inconvenience. The staff member (they are normally very polite and helpful) told me they dont supply masks and that by not wearing I was putting them in danger... I was taken back and quote offended. I then left, but returned immediately to see if they would sell a mask to me to retain my business at that point. I was told in the rudest tone we dont sell them or provide them". This staff member was nothing but rude and aggressive from the moment I walked in.I told them I guess I will take my business and that of friends and family elsewhere

The service here was amazing, I would definitely reccomend it to others! Josh and his staff helped us out today, they were super knowledgeable, friendly and inviting. The store set up was incredibly user-friendly, with screens set up for pricing, holdable glass view samples and a recyclable bin set up for all the pesky extra packaging we get. They also had a great selection and variety of products. 10/10

Here is my original review, from years ago. ( which I still standby )----I've enjoyed coming here for...well, the beginning. This is the way it should be. Casual, but attentive. Clean, organized, comfortable. They won't bum rush you at the door for i.d.,(F+F) they won't try and sell you like a car dealer(Nov-a). They give you their honest answers, and try to convey any relatable feedback. Even if you just need to learn a bit more, stop in and chat with them. They are all friendly, and approachable. Their smiles are genuine, because they're genuine. On the topic of smiles. (Heidi: the White Russian was choice. Description captured it perfectly.) First I know in Edmonton to take the added responsibility of initiating their own recycling program. Whereas other stores couldn't be bothered...until they looked foolish. When I think of a distinctly Edmonton store. It's Elevate.------So here we are in the present again. Here is my new review.--- People! If you've been impressed with a local business, and are kind enough to leave positive feedback with a review. Don't stop there!!! WORD OF MOUTH. It is one of the most effective things for truly, supporting locally, and the Elevate team, STILL deserves this respect. Not these, cold fish, only two brand carrying stores. Where you're lucky if the staff will pause their personal conversation long enough to tell you they don't know what an indica is!! ( true story. V/eryB/ad. ) If you want to feel good opening a door. If you want strain/brand diversity. If you want interesting backgrounds on certain products, ( I learned a bit about, Sweet Justice" bevvies today. Thanks! ) If you feel like smiling

I had a very uncomfortable experience with this place. Someone from this store asked me to move my car and park it in the back. I was with my kid trying to enjoy a lunch at a restaurant next door. I pointed out there was 2 extra spots for his guest in the public parking at front. The whole time I was there no one parked in those spots anyways. I don’t understand why someone could be greedy over parking spots. Extremely rude
