Very convenient location and a clean, well organized store. Staff were helpful, and we look forward to returning. No....we do not know anyone who works at this or any other Shoppers; we simply had a pleasurable experience.

If you want to walk in, make sure you’re not young, and be prepared for mockery.Went in today to purchase fragrance with my friend and experienced the worst customer service I’ve ever received at the cosmetics section, particularly the fragrance department. We started to search through the Philosophy fragrances, and were being cautiously watched by the South Asian security guard (I mention this for identification purposes. I am South Asian as well). We are university-age students but the guard was aggressively following us around from the moment we entered the cosmetics and fragrance section. I understand being cautious, theft if a common issue in many cosmetics stores, but it was aggressive and for no reason, as my friend and I had just entered. We did not do anything suspicious. We were speaking and testing fragrances. When we entered the high-end fragrance section, a blonde, large white woman helped us out. I was appreciative as she seemed kind and helped me search through some scents. However, as I was leaving the fragrance section with my friend, I heard her mocking me with her coworkers for choosing to look at a particular Burberry “Her” fragrance. I honestly felt embarrassed and belittled, and honestly I felt quite stupid after that comment. I understand that working in customer service is difficult. I have done it myself, and I have seen how mean and disrespectful people can be to service workers. As someone with empathy, I always try my best to be kind to service workers. I smiled at everyone there and tried my best to be kind and respectful, because I did not want to leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth. I also know, as someone who has worked in customer service before, that it is so incredibly unprofessional to disrespect your customers. I ended up not going back to the fragrance section to purchase a perfume for myself because I felt insecure and insulted. I had trusted her to provide me with good service, but she judged me and my preferences and mocked me when I was just out of her vision. When my friend and I went back to the low-end cosmetics, the security guard followed us again throughout the store. Any aisle we went to, she was there watching. My friend and I are both young south asian woman. I had never experienced anything like this in my life, I am in so much disbelief. I cannot begin to tell you how horrible and awful I felt. I genuinely almost cried. There was genuinely no reason to follow us around. My friend and I had been followed since we walked in for no other reason than we were young. I felt unsafe, embarrassed, and ashamed of myself because of the way I was being followed. I felt like a criminal because I walked in the store. I can’t imagine how other people of colour who are darker than I am, or younger kids may be treated here. The guard spoke with the blonde woman who helped us with fragrances after we left the fragrance section. She additionally watched us as we checked out, which made no sense at all since we were literally paying and a cashier was behind the counter.I do not recommend this place if you want to look for cosmetics and fragrance, you will be judged and followed around for prejudiced reasons. I recommend the Sephora, which has a better selection and is around the corner, or Hudson’s Bay. The Bay is expensive but we weren’t treated like that there. Sephora experiences more theft than Shoppers, especially since it has much pricier items, but even there you are not followed around and mocked for your personal preferences in earshot.

The folks at the shopper's in this location are small minded and bigoted. I had gone to post a mail at the Canada Post and decided to grab a pack of Coca-Cola. Apparently I was aggresively followed around the store until I completed self service payment. I didn't notice this at first until my company pointed this out to me. I asked the attendant why she did that and she couldn't offer any coherent response. I asked to speak to her manager (Sue) who was so rude, uncouth and unprofessional. She claimed that it was the attendant's job to follow people around the store and self service. I mentioned that the Caucasians who transacted before and after I did were not so treated and I demanded an explanation for the blatant racial profiling! She refused to acknowledge my complaints but mentioned that I should leave her store". She called the security on me and threatened to call the police for voicing my grievances. Manager behaved quite unprofessionally. Just wanted to exchange my baby’s Aveeno lotion with Aveeno shampoo. At first manager said go the exact location I bought the product. Then she said she would exchange if I find the shampoo there. Then at the counter she said she can’t exchange and even grabbed the shampoo from me and put in to her basket at the counter without even asking “do you want to buy the shampoo”. I said I am buying it, then she kept it back. Manager could have make clear that, they can’t exchange the product without wasting my time and insulting in front of other customers. Always me and my family have been a loyal customer with Shoppers drug mart with PC Cards. This is unacceptable. Very poor experience

The cashier Talya is the most polite, happy, welcoming cashier. She went above and beyond by helping me find what I was looking for, help give a recommendation, and when I went back to her Till to checkout, she was very helpful and knowledgeable when I bought one of my first lottery tickets. She is so lovely and I always go to here because she is the best employee there for sure.4 stars because security guards follow literally everywhere. and i get that theft is an issue, but like they gotta take it down a notch w the stalking cuz it freaks me out, even if i just browse like chill i got money and ill pay for my stuff at checkout dont you worry mr security guard.

Jadranka did my return for me today, and it was fast, easy and quick. She helped me out as soon as I entered and I was out with my refund in less than 10 minutes. She's definitely the type of worker that makes your shopping experience enjoyable and smooth. Thanks Jadranka!!

Quite a lot of items despite being in a mall. Lots of refrigerated foods, extensive makeup and perfume area, and lots of pharmaceutical things. There is a baby section and self check out, well stocked and clean store. Located right across from the Telus store.

I had amazing experience with a young lady in the Pharmacy Dragana. She helped me with rebilling my medications and with such great attitude and respect. Thank you Dragana

I had a terrible experience. The blonde lady working at about 2pm at the beauty bar today March 29 check-out was very rude. I was just asking to return something and wasn't upset when it wasn't possible, however, I do not appreciate her tone. Don't know why she's working in retail if she doesn't know how to speak politely
