Bolton Camp will forever be in my heart. I am so lucky to have spent many of my childhood years at this place. Brings tears to my eyes knowing kids these days will never have the Bolton Camp experience.

The reserve is a real plus for those of us who enjoy a walk in nature with birdlife. I hope the path improvements and parking area are going to continue to completion.

I was a camp counselor there in the 70s. It was a special summer for many kids as well as single mothers and their young children. Glad to hear it may come back in a similar mode.

Beautiful in the winter snow. Can get slippery even with crampons when going down hill. The trail isn't marked but with the All Trails map you can find your way or just follow the footprints.

Went to watch a little league game, with the Caledon Nationals, the base ball diamond was was great

The TRCA is in the process of redeveloping this abandoned overnight camp into a multi use outdoor community facility. It will be a number of years before the project is complete but in the interim there are a number of trails that you can walk and bike on, and lots of abandoned cabins and structures to explore (from the outside).

Nice little hike in Bolton. Could use a little less traffic and teenager litter, but not too bad, especially considering the location.
