Curve Of Time Charters

My experience aboard the Curve was nothing short of magical. From paddling through the mist to see bears in the Broughton Archipelago to exploring the artifacts at Billy Proctor’s museum to hearing the humpback’s just off the bow of the Curve. Each day was different and memorable. I tried fresh crab that we caught just an hour before and other gourmet meals out on the deck.Campfires under the stars with a cup of hot tea made for a relaxing evening.The Curve of Time has an interesting history and is named after a book of a pioneering mother who explored the BC coast. Opportunities for exploration and adventure were provided every day and our cruising time provided time to read, view the scenery, or nap. It was an outstanding way to explore an area that few people visit.I managed to see orcas, humpbacks, sea lions, seals, herring balls, eagles, bears, sea stars, crabs, dolphins, porpoises, a Minke whale, and the beautiful stratified living rock walls.I really enjoyed the adventures I had on my trip as well as the other guests and the friendly crew. I am excited to be joining the Curve for another adventure in 2023.

Wow! What a great experience with a very enjoyable crew! They outdid themselves everyday & I felt more like family than a guest which is perfect in my eyes! The food was way beyond expectations & so delicious & the accommodations for a boat that size were perfect! Activities were always planned, regardless of the weather & requests were easily accommodated. You guys run a perfect ship, I’m definitely going to book again, different destination next time! Thanks guys, well done & hopefully see you soon!

I recommend these tours to anyone looking for an amazing adventure. I was onboard the Broughtons Tour in August 2022 and it was fantastic. Everything from the cleanliness of the vessel, the comfy cabins, the fantastic meals prepared by Chef Morgan, was absolutely incredible.We boarded the vessel in Port McNeill and the crew was very helpful and friendly. On the 3rd day of our tour we encountered a pod of over 20 orcas, and 1 hour later saw humpbacks breaching off in the distance. As we made our way over to Echo Bay, we spotted several bears roaming the edge of the water, and had a huge Sea Lion swim up right next to the boat!On the 4th day we woke up early went fishing, and we managed to pull in a few Lingcod. The best part was we brought our catch back to the boat and it was prepared as fish tacos within 3 hours.There were so many amazing memories made on this tour, and I am already excited for my next tour in 2023.- Josh

Our first visit to B.C and we chose the Curve of Time and her crew to be our hosts. What an unforgettable experience ! All the crew members were highly enthusiastic and friendly and a pleasure to sail with. Sylvain shared history and his knowledge of the beautiful Broughton Archepalego which the guests enjoyed..Matt and Brandon were much more than crew hands .They were keen adventure guides, providing opportunities for kayaking, fishing, crabbing and of course sightseeing adventures!Learning of all the obligations and duties and skill required to navigate a ship by Captain Sean was an eye opener for sure .Honestly, a highlight for me on this trip was the delicious and varied menu provided by Chef Allan !I know that the other guests will vouch for how much we looked forward to not only fresh caught seafood but other delicacies as well.Breathtaking , exciting , and relaxing all sum up our time on Curve of Time.

Incredibly comfortable and fun gulf island tour! I’d never kayaked before and was sure I would not go. No pressure from staff but Sylvain’s instructions sounded safe n easy. found myself in calm waters and great adventures! Twice!Beautiful trail walking on different islands was cool and never thought of home. Giant arbutus trees, tidal pools and even a few geocaches!I’m an early riser and was able to watch the eagles, seals and bay side life in the gulf waking up.Cpt Sean has amazing stories and let me visit on the ships bridge. Showed the course plotting and we set sail for..OMG Random whale pod spotted by his cohorts ahead and off we went! So cool to do the Following and saw the spouting and fins. WOW!Chef Alan had delicious varied dishes that were so good and always more available.Matt and Brandon were fun guides on the tender fishing and helpful with so many daily on board needs. Charles was ever ready with helpful hints, island info and clearly a Davy sailor! ARRR MATEY!Can’t say enough about Sylvain’s calm and vast knowledge, joining in on all activities as well as running his ship. Thanks so much Sylvain. This gulf island adventure far exceeded my expectations!
